Yikes! Sorry to hear that. My grandparents had a staffie and a budgie (Joey! I'm not kiddingcarbootcrazy wrote: »Poor canary, indeed:eek:. My nearest neighbours' huge dog killed their parrot a while ago. It was a big bird too. Didn't eat it though but the owners were distraught. Had been accustomed to having the dog and parrot living amicably together for a few years with the parrot frequently let out of the cage. They haven't a clue why the dog suddenly went for it:(

I'm learning, but expertise ... neverKarma, I continue to be in awe of your online expertise:A. Yes, it does sound gibberish to me but that's only because I wouldn't have the first clue how to even start doing all the stuff that you take in your stride:o.
Yesterday, for instance, I set up an email that goes with the blog name, and I've no idea if I've done it right, or how to get it onto the blog. Yet its something that blog owners do all the time, its so basic!
Still, I've updated the About/Hire Me pages for both blogs - not published yet, but I'm happy with them. Just taking a break now.
Have been a frequent visitor and read all the posts on here but haven't had much time to reply recently. Am with you all in spirit though. Such fun:beer:[/QUOTE]
Aw.... I'm glad its a bit of fun for you
you sound like you work really hard at debt clearing, and I remember how tough that can be. I work fairly hard at what I'm doing (blogging, gardening, recovering my health) but by definition I can't work as hard as I once did, as I'm now "officially" classing myself as burned out. Life is definitely more rounded because of that, but I'm nowhere near finished with the rounding process yet

I pressed the buttons for the updates on the About Me pages, and to get it all done, I had to check the publicity bits and bobs elsewhere ... and I have 75p in blog earnings! :j:j:j Amazon Associates isn't even fully set up yet, but I'm on my way :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Indeed :rotfl:quite a way still to go. Though each book that was sold earned me pennies too
I still need to win the big premium bond to retire easily :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Just been out cutting big branches from the witchhazel tree - I *will* bring the garden to order. Also starting to get rid of some volunteer "ornamental" grass. Apologies to those who like it, but I really don't and it sited itself incredibly inconveniently - lots and lots of weed-grass grew up around it. Tis no more
Shattered now

Yep, I'll have to write about that, I don't care if it is marketing, it's brilliant **beams happily**
Oh! As I was watching that, I just joined in the bad weather that the rest of the country has - I woke up to baby blue skies, and now they're completely grey and its started tipping down, oops. 2.5 hours work this afternoon, so I have to pace myself this morning.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
