    Thanks DD!

I found a sheet! Surprise surprise :D I didn't go for the cheapest polycotton either :D I went for 100% cotton, Egyptian if you please :D which cost me all of £14.60 at BHS :j

Had a pootle about the shops, which are splendiferous in that particular town, photographing any shop window with cats in even inside the shops sometimes, for which I asked permission, of course - there's a lot of very witty cat products out there - and I bet some of them would do well on the web :money:

Shattered again last night, but I seem to have caught up this morning. I've done my early Monday phone call for work, which was very distracting this week, so its taken me a while to get my act together. Must do better!

To-do list is emails and phone calls, plus the French purchase contract study. And I want to get out this afternoon - focus on one of the [STRIKE]two[/STRIKE] three bits of the garden that are most in need of weeding and then bark mulching _pale_

:coffee: I think I may have another coffee today :D

Done all the emails and phone calls - I remember something Tim Ferriss said, about bunching things - I hadn't done this intentionally, but it does help.

And never mind coffee :coffee: I'm hungry now :D Really peeved that I was so distracted this morning by my usual phone call - I didn't actually miss a trade because of it, but I'm still stamping my foot :p never mind, food and garden together will soon cure that :) hunger isn't good for me, y'know :p

Slight amount more peevement about the trading - I didn't recognise a signal at 2pm :o:o:o mea culpa :o

And I had to spend ages on the phone with an emergency call - not a client of mine, simply a lost soul :( that happens sometimes. Had to get out into the garden after that, and finally, finally, finally ....

I can tell that the weeding from previous years has had an effect! Even though there's nasty straggly grass, its sort of skimming over the top of the soil - bag it all, chuck the bark mulch over it, and hey presto. I'm coming in every half hour for a good mooch at the trading, but the move that I didn't see is the big one for early-mid afternoon, I think.

Otherwise - ha! I've found enough plastic folders, the sort that have 2 sides closed and 2 open, to cope with the different sets of paper I need for my cat website - "website", "card design", "collars" and "other products" are the main areas :D:D:D I can't do stuff like this if it isn't organised - in fact, I was reading a web article somewhere about that, that creativity needs clarity and concentration (how almost-poetic :rotfl:).

  • Hey love you sound SO busy and just look after yourself. I know you do well on busy but (pots/kettle here) .

Excellent find on the sheets - love cotton :)

And as for the cats - they sound like they're lifting your spirits.

Trading wise you know I'm a buffoon but you're sounding so switched on about it.

And for lost souls finding you (there are a few of us!) I'm glad you had time for them and for weeds that are behaving - that's good stuff.

    Have a great day today.

    :)
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Thanks Pippi! Yep, you're right, I'm exhausted today - I'm not going to do anything in the garden, even though I *really* want to, the most I'll do is peel a carrot for some crudites :) Its very tempting, I can see the bones of the garden I want starting to emerge, but there's no point when I'm this tired.

Lost souls ... ah well, there are levels of lostness. You and I are lost in a good way, finding ways of living that aren't the conventional straight path (though the straight path is much less common nowadays, of course).

As for the sheet, I was chuffed to find 100% cotton, yes - I mentioned it on the book of face to my cousin in New Jersey, and she and *her* cousin in Florida didn't know what sheets were  they call them "flats" - umm, nope, thats not it :rotfl: and when I said my previous one had died, they started thinking I was talking about gambling :rotfl:(die, see!). Of all the English cousins, I'm the one who uses words they don't understand - personally, I think its because I write the most :rotfl: I really hope so, but I also think its because of the colourful metaphors I use - sheets dying, and all that - and thats because of you, Pippi, with the hokey cokey and the doglets and the childerbeasts and whatnot :T:T:T I do love it so much :j

Well, today's list: hmm, banking and library were in my diary, I'm not doing that walk today, and nor am I doing any gardening, so the cat website it is :) I have a "next steps" list of 30 odd things that *can* be done, so I'll pick a few and do them, after my paid work finishes at 2pm. Oh, and looking at the French contracts, botheration. Never mind, I'll have a decaff coffee to compensate :coffee:

Hiya! Thats true, there have been :) I just need to regroup on the energy - quite snuffly and sore, which may be simple allergens in the soil - yesterday was the first time its been properly dry, so they may have been flying about.

I managed to catch up on sleep a bit yesterday, thank heavens, and I have a draft of a news article for the cat website, written, and photos correctly sized. Nothing else, though :( apart from chasing a cat off my Alexanders this morning :p

And today, apart from my big long session, has to be an admin day. To *make* myself do it, I'm not going to post an update until I *have* done it, because thats what really needs doing, I can't just footle around the edges, even if I dislike what I need to do.

Coffee. Thats whats needed. Or a strong cuppa tea.
