:hello::hello::hello: Hello! I'm back!
Norfolk was lovely, and thank you all for the good wishesTravel time is cut by 20 minutes because the roadworks to widen the main road have finished :j , no horrendous jams anywhere at all.
The pubs and restaurants are still lovely
So are the rellies who live locally :j
I had to be very careful about how much/little I did, but my sister and I *did* get to Titchwell Bird Reserve, and did the 25 minute walk to the sea - where we saw a seal sunning himself on some rocks, on land, not even a sandbank out to sea :j:j:j that was special.
The garden isn't overgrown suddenly, I love mulch
Off to do the roundup, its good to be back too. Another week's holiday still to go, and tomorrow starts week 58 in the countdown to retirement :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Welcome home - I'm going to work out how long until Mr T retires - thank you.

Hello peeps
Tilly, yes, I'd wanted a way of counting the weeks that made sense all the time, and really, a countdown is the only way for me. I'm definitely going to be decluttering madly in the background, books and CDs in particular (ooh, the CDs - you've been doing that).
Still on holiday, so not too much hard work yet:j

Welcome home, Karmacat. We've missed you.
It sounds as if your Norfolk break was just what you needed, you sound really upbeat and energised:j.0 -
Hi CBC :hello: thank you! I was mentioning my online friends - I like how Goldie described us on Ed's thread, "the people who live in my computer" :rotfl:
Yep, I surprised myself healthwise - the journey takes it out of me for days, but thats all, I'm just tired (and slope off every now and then to lie down) but otherwise its fine. And my mum could do a surprising amount :j even tho she needs help walking.
The seal, and the tiny baby gecko/newt made it for me
I may also have got into Minette Walters whodunnits2023: the year I get to buy a car0
