Hi Goldie!
Since its *this* new month, and its before midday too (hint hint, have a think) I can tell you that even though I don't do the lottery, they rang me up and decided to give me ten million pounds:p:p

Yep, and it turns out not to have been true after all. Of course I'm absolutely devastated
can't speak properly at the moment my tongue is stuck to the side of my cheek
Anyway, I was sitting waiting for the phone session to begin, and mucking around with the calculator on my mobile: approx £30,000 shortfall still existing towards the pension shortfall, and this is week 74 - this gives me a magic number of about £400 a week
 **faints**
Big chunks come along as compound interest of one sort or another, its true, but I'm going to have to up my game a bit on the writing if I'm going to get there _pale_ I don't timetable my afternoon very well, thats one inconvenient truth - I faff about with things that are *completely unproductive in the afternoons more often than not. Not today, it's been solid work today, but most daysI think I need to make a list of really easy tasks, probably *not* in front of the computer, and probably with a little bit of physical activity in them. Gardening fitted the bill yesterday ... mending, as RT was doing the other day, *wouldn't*
don't know, I need a list of choices. Anyone any ideas? Slots offers a la Ed might be a good idea :T especially with that £400 a week figure!
Never mind - off for a walk round the block after finishing, get the juices flowing2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Whenever people win the lottery without playing, Dr Who has always had a hand in it.0

Regular MB would work fine. You can already do it, £10/week would take £13,000 off the shortfall table. Slots are a bit like compound growth - nothing for months - then £££ all at once. I wouldn't like to count them as an income source...0

Don't want to rub your nose in it KC BUT http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3021308/Couple-win-1million-EuroMillions-lottery-SECOND-time-TWO-YEARS-beating-odds-283-billion-one.htmlNothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0

What a boring pair of farts.
'I just knew it would be our turn again one day'. What, because the first million didn't work for you? :rotfl:0 -
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I can't imagine *wanting* to live in a prefab, though I can just about remember prefabs on the Dock Road in Liverpool and how complimentary everyone was about them. That was a housing shortage to end all housing shortages, to be sure
I'd rather have a chat with David Tennant :j:j:j
Erm, Ed - where do you get £10 a week m.b.ing taking £13k off the shortfall? Surely thats 1300 weeks, which is ... um ... 25 years??? Well, if bookies are still going, I suppose there's nothing wrong with carrying on after I retire! And I guarantee I wouldn't be *banking* on slots, same as I don't bank on anything at all, really (I'm still surprised when the rent for the apartment shows up!). And there's no way of predicting wins etc etc etc. It was just that because slots are random (presumably?) there's nothing to think about, like there is with m.b. - I don't have to be careful, in other words, so I can do it when I'm a bit tired, because I've not risked any money at all of mine, whereas you do risk the seed money with m.b. (like when I made the mistake at skaye).
I'm equating slots with gardening and mending, trying to be realistic, honest
But yes, I hereby promise to get back to matched betting2023: the year I get to buy a car0
