And all through my PhD people said 'don't get it right, get it written!'

(of course, that backfired slightly, because I wrote it, but it was wrong and I had to write it again :o :rotfl: )

But how do you know you've got it wrong until you've written it? - you could ponder for weeks about the perfect piece of work - but an unwritten piece is no good to anyone - an incorrect written piece is a thing to learn from :) xx

Skaye are a great source of freebies, just watch out when spending the free bets. Odd5monkey sometimes comes up short for Skaye, your best bet is to look out for boosted odds offers on football matches (you can tell they're boosted because the game name has a yellow arrow next to it in the listings).

They are also an occasional source of slots type offers, although these aren't typically 100% risk free. Still, played sensibly, they provide a very reasonable ROI.

Lots of wisdom on here this morning, thank you all! Watty, I'd forgotten to look further at fire starter, so that will see me through my snack later on :)

Thanks for this ed - the spelling too, you can tell I've been struggling to write it safely! I've done the £5 opener, we'll see if I've done it correctly - in fact, thats probably why I never made the weekly profit that you do now, I'm not as easy with the figures and I don't really believe I've done it right :o

Of all the bingo offers I've done over the years, there was only one that wasn't 100% risk free, and it gave all of us that did it by far the greatest ROI, so I'll probably have a go :) ta muchly. I'll study first tho!

    And today:

    - did the Skaye opening offer.

    - client work done.

    - phone call - left a message.

    - cleaning - very hasty :D but I did do a tiny bit.

    - getting published: will sort this this afternoon.- blogpost about being locked out. Posted it, faffed about with "categories" and abandoned them, wrote an "About" page and wrote a links page too  (they're kind of similar, I confess). - garden work. I need a bit of food inside me first :D

Right, so this afternoon, its food, firestarter research while I digest a little bit, garden work, and then getting published research.

I can't say "good morning" dear me!

I got an extra hour's sleep, which was bliss, and it was good quality too :j but the morning has been troublesome, I confess, except for the actual paid work, which was both beautiful and deeply satisfying ...

The family issue has reared its head again, the one where lawyers almost got involved, and its potentially got wound up in the troubles of a very dear, very close family member (thats not code for my sister, who I rabbit on about endlessly on here!). Plus I feel snuffly (which I think is a combination of being out in the cold so long on Sunday night/Monday morning, but its worrying), my yacon needs harvesting and my garlic needs planting, and I've got an email from owners of other apartments in the block where my apartment is in France, and it sounds like they're trying to resist the new lease (which is horrible, but the only other option is to manage it ourselves, which would drain me completely. How I hate that apartment).

I've gone back on the vitamins and the echinacea tincture, I'll go a walk after my next client leaves at 1.30, can't let all of this pull me down :( must take what CBC said to heart. I can dust myself off and get going.

So sorry you are having the morning from hell after such a promising start. I'm very touched that what I said in an earlier post struck a chord with you, Karmacat (see above) but if anyone can do it it's you:A. It's not often that anyone takes the slightest notice of my 'pearls of wisdom':o
