Hello, I'm looking for a bit of advice on what to do next. I've read some of the stickies and links but a lot of it goes over my head.

My wife works for wigan infirmary and some time last year they stopped all staff from using the hospital car park. They now have to drive to one about 2 miles away then catch a bus to work (ridiculous).

One morning my wife was running late for work and had no option but to park on the hospital car park as she would have been late. She later received a letter from legion, zenith and debt recovery plus. I told her to ignore the letters as I had read online and they would go away. Having read some more, I'm not sure of that's the correct thing to do or not. Here is the most recent, excuse the side on pics (I'm on my phone so can't rotate them)

Should I continue to ignore, or is there something I could do to make the letters stop, it really does stress the wife out.

You can't post pictures yet as you are a newbie with under 20 posts.

Is your enquiry simply that you've got the latest letter that DRP are using that looks as though it comes from 'Small Claims Solicitors'? Discussed on several threads, such as here:

Same advice to you as on those threads. Read the sticky thread for Newbies - the debt collector section now in a separate post with links, and make your mind up if you want to respond as if it's a real LBC (which it isn't) or carry on ignoring it unless a small claim actually materialises (in which case you would be able to defend it of course).

We suspect this is part of the DRP Letter chain and either ignoring or responding as registered keeper (as per the LBCCC Fightback sticky, read it!) would be a good plan. It's whatever suits you really seeing as the letter is drivel if that's the one you were trying to attach.

Same as this one here, I'll just keep on ignoring it until I get some sort of legal letter.

7878lee, this is the second thread you have hijacked. Please start your own one after reading Newbie thread post 1 three times. Either follow advice there or ask in your own thread.
Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Click on words Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Newbie thread is the first post. Blue New Thread button is just above it to left.

As ever, this is covered in the sticky thread at the top of this parking forum - which is why I wrote it. Sadly, last year it got silly as we could not keep up with all the ''help I have got a private parking ticket, what do I do?'' threads and hijacks on old threads - so I wrote a 'sticky thread' begging newbies to 'read these FAQS first'.

If you are unfamiliar with forums and only found these threads by Googling certain words, then you are missing today's posts!

Wait for the Notice to Keeper in the post if you are the keeper, THEN appeal using the template from the NEWBIES thread (top thread, that's why it's there). The same thread tells you how to win at POPLA or IAS and explains what that is... :)
