  • Sorry just to clarify

I thought the NEW versions of the ONE plan did not come with tethering. I thought it was a optional extra at a fiver a month for such a feature.

I was on a 12 month contract SIM only for the one plan.

Will try to phone them tomorrow and see what discount I can get

Tethering is free on the new one plans, it's a chargable extra on other plans such as the £12.90 200 minute one.

In regards to any discounts, in all likelihood you wwon't get a sausage.

I've just come to the end if a 24 month contract, and they offered nothin, bar the one plan on a monthly rolling for £15 instead of £18, which they offered begrudgingly.

If you go on the 3 website then at present they are advertising the "One plan " at £23 on a rolling monthly contract or £20 per month on a 12 month contract & it has been at that price at least since they changed the tethering allowance on PHONE contracts.

The One Plan sim only went up to its current price 29 January 2014 IIRC. The new 24 month phone plans were introduced 18 March.

Beware though, tethering on the One plan has recently changed and you are now only allowed to use 2gb while tethered. With an older One plan tethering is unlimited.

Tethering on the SIM ONLY One Plan is still unlimited, the 2gb limit applies to PHONE contracts on the One Plan

The One Plan is now only available sim only. The new 24 months phone don't include "The One Plan" product. In fact I don't think they have plan names anymore.

All new 24 month plans now allow tethering but it's limited to 2GB even if the plan offers all you can eat data.
