Maybe some drivers follow true mph instead of indicated ie the difference between your cars speedo and gps speed.0

It's not an urban myth, but it's also not true.
It used to be true with the 1st generation of SPECS cameras as they were not type approved for monitoring multiple lanes.
This loophole has long since been closed and it's a non-issue for the current generation.0 -
It's group mentality, they see one person doing it and everyone else thinks it's ok.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

the ones on the M42 at junc 3a to 3 can easily be seen if they are working as the sensor on the front glows red(infra red sensor) i know you cant see the sensor during the day and even when they are working people blast past as well..
M6 ones work as well as a few got caught last week0 -
I love how many people have accused someone like myself as being stupid, or having illegal plates?
Im well educated and my car is fully legally thank you!
I use M6 few times a week for work, mainly junction 10 - 6 (not in one go, hopping on and off for convenience).
The speed cameras are set to 50mph, but with a 10% flex for speedo calibration. i read this somewhere. not some know it all on a forum, but on a website, i cannot remember where, i just know i read it!) I know my speedo at 55mpg, means the car is doing 50mph (tested with sat nav). i set the cruise to 60mph through, and have never got a ticket (having been doing it since the roadworks began a number of years ago...)0 -
You missed out
e) they simply stop for a minute after passing the first camera, then they can drive at 100mph and still average less than 50mph between cameras.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science

These people fall into 4 groups I think:
1. Those who don't understand tolerances and insist on going at an actual 45mph
2. Those who are idiots and brake for every camera
3. Those who are criminals/have some reason not to care
4. Motorcyclists who are of course immune to SPECS (and indeed TRUVELO) cameras.0
