Would this annoy you or am I unreasonable

I would be really honest with her and tell her that you were a bit hurt that she'd forgotten about paying you back.
Remind her that you were glad to help, and would do again, as long as she was making her own efforts. ( which don't include £70 hair dos)Member #14 of SKI-ers club
Words, words, they're all we have to go by!.

she's taking the p~~s because it sounds like there was nothing agreed when the money was lent , ie , i give you money , i want it payed back by the end of the month, and lending friends is always a minefield
it needs to be sorted out , say you want it back by the middle of next month , how much is she going to pay per week , don't accept excuses for not paying , although tbh you don't really have a leg to stand on unless you take her to court ,
if you're lending to friends , you have to lend it and accept you might not get it back , so it's probably best not to do it at all , unless it's a close family member0 -
You lend her money, she makes no effort to pay you back then asks you to babysit whilst she goes out spending money on non-essentials for herself?

What happens when someone else has an emergency? You can't help them in the same way as you did your sister!! Get it back by whatever method you choose even if you end up lending it to your sister two years down the line!
If she does not repay it now then she has no hope when and if another emergency comes along and she gives you a sob story!!

Gotta love people who say they've got no money, but seem to be able to find it when they want it, for the hairdressers, meals out, new clothes etc. I know a few people who don't even pay their bills half the time, but will happily and willingly spend 100s of pounds on a new pair of designer shoes, or a new smartphone. Hope you get your money OP.(•_•)

There are priorities in life, and the OP's sister needs to learn how to prioritise, and how to recognise when she is acting in an immoral way.
If I was the OP, I would be asking for repayment of the loan at every opportunity, along with a little lecture on what "hard up" really means.
£70 for a haircut - that would keep me in barbers shop visits for a year!0 -
With you on this one OP
You just learn a lesson not to bother next time they ask, hopefully it might teach them a lesson0 -
Your sister needs to learn to budget. She may not want to but she's effectively paying out nearly £20 a week for her hair.
Perhaps broaching it in a more tactful manner as suggested by an earlier poster will help. Although if she's not really wanting to pay it back, she'll likely get arsey no matter how you word it.
Something along the lines of "heres my bank details, how much do you think you can pay this week/month?" and then if she says she cant just say "oh sorry, I thought you had money to start paying me back when you asked me to babysit for your night out".Could also be a good opener for making a suggestion to help her with a budget? Price comparison sites, cashback sites etc.
It may cause upset. But she'll get over it and it will hopefully teach her that paying people back should take priority over luxuries! You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
I agree with BITTER AND TWISTED.
Man up and demand your dosh back, if you don't soon you will never get it back.
Good luck>0
