Powerful_Rogues post as ads from two EHIC 'copycat' websites are the top two results when you Google EHIC. Wrong yet again...you should really ask MSE to change your username to hpuseless.

hahaha...cliques resorting to name calling when shown a news item!! Wealdroam ...where are you?

So ... you believe attention-grabbing media (who would NEVER sensationalise a story, or get facts wrong - oh no) over evidence in this forum about what someone saw with their own eyes?

    Okay .........

    You posed the question:-

wonder what is more of a reliable source, The Mirror or Powerful_Rogues' post.

....the answer is PR. PR is a more reliable source than the Mirror or you. FACT.

Why do you continue to try and mislead?

Which ones you mean by They, RosiPossum ?
The websites that charge for their 'check and send' service and tell you this on the front page. Like all of the ones you're talking about save for the ones that actually are misleading and have been shut down or forced to change.

Calm down Hpuse... I'm here... no need to panic just yet.

Surely you realise by now that continually posting quotes from old newspapers is a farcical way to get your message across.

What you need to do is only quote authoritative sources.

Hope that helps... but sometimes you need to help yourself.

It is neither news (news is err...NEW, and not more than two weeks old!) or factually correct...why are you lying?

The Daily Mirror would never get anything wrong would they?

The Daily Mirror is in hot water over today's poster-style front page image showing a little girl crying to illustrate a campaign about poverty in Britain.
But the girl is not British. It was taken years ago. And she is not weeping because she is poor. In fact, she is American, the daughter of a photographer, and was upset by an earthworm.

The Mirror claimed the rat was caught in Liverpool and that the photo depicted pest controller Sean Whelan holding the dead animal.
It has since been established that the false story originated in the Sunday edition of the Liverpool Echo, owned by publisher Trinity Mirror plc, which also owns the Daily Mirror.

On 16 September we published an article headed “I’ve had Moore women than James Bond” which claimed that Sir Roger Moore had recently spoken exclusively to The People and made comments to our journalist about his private life.
We now accept that Sir Roger did not give an interview to our reporter and did not make the comments that were reported in the headline.

With Saturday’s Daily Mirror we distributed a supplement entitled ‘Women who Kill’ which we trailed on the front page of the newspaper with a picture of the front page of the supplement.
One of the women whose story featured in the supplement was Vera Renczi who lived in the former Yugoslavia between 1903 and 1939 and who killed 35 men.
Unfortunately due to an error the picture we used, both inside and on the front page of the supplement, was not of Vera Renczi but of Patricia Belda Martinez, who is otherwise known as Morgana and who is a fashion model. The picture we used belongs to Ms Martinez.
We apologise unreservedly to Ms Martinez for our error in wrongly using her picture in the supplement which she, of course, has no connection with and for the considerable embarrassment caused to her by our actions.
“One in four young drivers are involved in a crash in their first six months on the road”. That was the startling headline that greeted readers of the Daily Mirror on 20 July this year.
It was also inaccurate. The poll conducted by Populus for the AA upon which the Mirror’s statistics were based actually showed that only 7% of the young drivers questioned were involved in a crash during their first six months.
It is now clear that the photographs the Mirror published of British soldiers abusing an Iraqi prisoner were fakes.

So, this is what I read from your post.

Name calling is fine...but continuously posting newpapers links is not fine ...great!

Re: helping myself, I don't want to: :-)
I want the world to see how good these forums are.
The message from here is loud and clear to Google policy makers, Goverment and other trade and business monitoring authorities when it comes to the overall care, welfare, for the deserving 'copycats' ....
