Hi
Got to love a Primark haul! I always need bigger sizes in Primark too - their stuff is very small fitting so don't beat yourself up too much
Well done on having some left out of your budget and paying it to the credit card!
It's all sounding good - keep it upHope you have a great evening xx

Thanks, makes me feel a bit better
Have been to the gym this morning although all my good work was cancelled out by the enormous brunch OH cooked once I got home!
Got paid today from weekly job - £58.41, a £15.98 DD went out today for the broadband, I put £10 by for the next electricity bill and made a wee payment to cc1 (£2.43) leaving £30 to do until next friday.
Spends today so far are £5 on eggs and veg from the local market.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86
Mortgage overpayment savings - £46.47/£50

No other spends to report for today although not for the lack of trying. I went into town this afternoon to get some nice food for OH's birthday meal tomorrow and a card for him, got to the till and realised I'd forgotten my purse
Unfortunately I have had a lazy day and have not done either of my other little jobs in the flat but will do them tomorrow while OH is at work.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

I seem to have had quite a spendy day today.
£3.99 for a card and wee present for OH
£11.50 for a card and present for future sister-in-law
£5 at local butchers
£16 on food/wine for OHs birthday meal
Leaving me about £8.50 for the rest of the week.
The bathroom is now sparkly clean so I can tick that off my list. I also went to the gym today so thats my 3 days achieved. However, I haven't yet sewn buttons onto my clothes as I put the buttons in a 'safe place' and now of course can't find them!
I got a letter today from my bank about claiming ppi back on a loan I had years ago so I will get it filled in over the weekend. Would be great if I could get something back.
I also got an email today about another hen weekend so will really need to start saving lots of money towards these. Luckily this one is in Edinburgh so not too far away.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Nothing much to report from here today. I was working all day for 2nd job and then handed my timesheet straight in so I don't have to get up early tomorrow to do it.
I avoided all the shops on the way home so it was a NSD. Came home to a lovely tea cooked by OH - pork chops, chips and cauliflower cheese yum!
I filled out the ppi form so its all ready to post tomorrow. I have also wrapped the present ready to be posted. Thankfully its the last birthday for a while.
Now settling down to watch les miserables as I got it for christmas and still not watched it.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Wow Misstara you have had a brilliant few days.
Well done on getting home past the shops without spending. Bless you oh that dinner sounded lovely.
Fingers crossed with the ppi claim. Got to be in it to win it xxx
Have a great week xx0 -
Hi Steph, yeah it would be great if I got some money back- will just have to wait and see. The ironic thing is I probably would never have got round to claiming ppi on the loan as I threw out the paperwork years ago and didn't have a reference number for it but since the bank contacted me, I might as well go for it!
So I posted away the ppi letter today plus the birthday present which cost £2.65. Other spends for today are £4.05 on milk, sugar and breakfast biscuits.
I made £10 today washing my grans windows - had forgotten how much work it is, my arms are aching.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Hi Tara!
Well done on sending off the PPI form. Fingers crossed you hear something back!
And kudos on making £10 for window cleaning - bit of money in your pocket AND a bit of a workout.. win win!
Hope you have a lovely day.. and your aching arms feel better soon! x0 -

Hi Kim, not sure how long it takes to hear back from them but hopefully won't be too long. My arms were thankfully fine today
I managed to achieve a NSD again today which I'm really pleased about. Thought I might have to get the bus home from work as it was chucking it down earlier but the weather co-operated and I was fine walking home.
I got home to find a letter saying my new savings account is now up and running, I just need to wait for the login details to come through. I'm hoping it will be this week as I know the longer the money sits in my current account, the more tempted I will be to spend it.
The interest was added on today to both the loan and cc1 so updated my signature. I just need to pay off 74.00 before the end of February to achieve my mini goal of being under 10,000. Should be doable as I get paid from my monthly job next week so will be able to make a payment then.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

A day off work today, met a couple of friends for lunch and spent 6.95. I also spent 2.73 on teabags and juice. I made a 1.85 payment to cc1 as well.
My login details for my new savings account came through today so I have transferred the money to it.
I got my payslip through from 2nd job today so will sit down tonight to make a budget for next week. I need about 35.00 for gym and phone bill direct debits which are due out next week.
My sister is coming up to visit at the weekend so I need to think of some free/cheap stuff to do.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86
