Just stopping by to say hi!
Glad to hear your body scrub turned out good! :j I may have to try making some of my own too. It could even be an idea for a cheap gift for friends - buy a nice looking jar, put a bit of ribbon around it- presto!
You sound like you've had a good few days - keep it up! Hope you've had a good weekendx

Thanks for your post Kim - was thinking along the same lines for presents, it was easy to make and super cheap too. Will keep an eye out for cheap jars to buy.
Did nothing all weekend except workbut on the plus side, hardly spent any money. Hope your weekend was a bit more exciting than mine.

Another NSD to report today
I left my purse at home by accident so couldn't spend anything - should do that more often!
Interest for loan and cc1 will be added on tomorrow so will finally be able to update signature.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Morning Steph, thanks for your post. Signature is now updated and I never thought I would get so excited about paying back my debts and seeing my signature dropI have bad days where I can't be bothered (mostly when I'm insanely tired from work) but in general quite happy just plodding away paying little bits of here and there.

First day of my holidays today and I wake up at 6.45am and can't get back to sleep
typical! However, I have 10 days off so plenty of time for lie-ins.
Interest for the loan and cc1 was added on yesterday so I have updated my signature. I am now at 6% paid :j which is nearly half way towards my mini-target of 12.5% by my birthday.
Yesterday was a spendy day - much more than I had anticipated. I spent 5.60 on bread, bacon, sugar and milk. Will need to go and get a big shop in at some point fairly soon.
I then went to my opticians appointment as I've been trialling new contacts. I decided to sign up to their monthly direct debit scheme. Its a little more expensive than what I normally pay for the lens but it covers everything and I can get a free pair of glasses as well. As my current pair of glasses is about 3 and a half years old, I will probably need new ones next time I go for a sight test.
The monthly cost is 15.00, however, I didn't realise that I would have to pay for the first 3 months up front. I had only budgeted 20.00 for contacts so luckily the global test market money cleared in my paypal account yesterday so used that. I then made a 5.00 payment to cc1 with the rest of the gtm money.
Some good news from work - I will be getting a pay rise from April :j not really sure how much it works out as a month but any extra money is a bonus!Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

The only spend for yesterday was 3.59 on some drain unblocker as the shower was draining really slowly. Seems to working better now.
Today I spent 6.84 on some ham for tea and some ingredients for baking as I'm planning to make banana loaf tomorrow to use up some bananas that are going a bit yucky.
I found out today that the price for the accommodation and a tour for the hen weekend is 130.00. I can either pay it before or on the weekend but think I will pay it before so I know its done and I can work out how much more I will need. I plan to transfer the money tomorrow. I also owe a friend 45.00 for the travel tickets but she has said just to give her it next time I see her (which will probably be on the weekend).
I got my payslip for 2nd job today so have made a budget for next week. Should hopefully get my payslip for main job tomorrow.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Fingers crossed for you - hope you get one! Think mine will probably work out at about an extra 30.00 a month but that's 30.00 more I can put towards my debt.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

I got the council tax bill through today so its 124.52 for the first month and then 128.00 for the 9 months after that.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86
