Had exactly the same email too. Had a confirmation email immediately too. Placed an order at 5.45 when the kids woke me up! If they know that some of the items I ordered are out of stock why can't they tell me which? The email then goes on to say that my order hasn't been processed yet! So annoying.
If I only get a partial order do you reckon I'll be able to get the delivery charge refunded? If I don't get everything I ordered but have to pay full whack delivery it's not such a bargain IYSWIM?!0 -
re ebay......i only like sanctuary and missed the ultimate glow tin...i just bought on ebay brand new £15 and £5 postage??im utterly baffled(unless they nicked it!!!)...40p listing fee,£1.50 selling fee..was the tin not £12.50 in sale??.plus paypal fee...and a fiver postage ...if i remember last years box was heavy...i sell loads on ebay so good luck to them posting this second class for a fiver....nutters
Maybe its an unwanted gift?
I have 3 sets i need to sell or recycle as i have newly diagnosed eczema and can't use them (i did tell my relatives but they gave me them anyway)
Ebay is ridiculous for fees, i sold a pair of baby slippers at xmas with free postage brand new and the postage cost more than the slippers!0 -
Got the same email.
Went to lakeside with my sister this morning. Was one of the first people outside at about 8am. Everyone that came after us had trolleys so I decided that we should have one too....and had my sis stay to the side with it. It's was super crowded but everyone was really civilised. Managed to get some lovely toys for my little one including the leapad2 at about £27 from £90.0 -

I'm all for making a bit of money but it seems wrong to buy a soap & glory set this morning for £6 (that was £20) another that was slightly different for a similar price and then put up a pic of individual items, half from each set ranging from £3 for hand food up to £7 for lotion (the price of one whole set)!! Or is this just what people do?!
It seems a bit underhanded to me. It's not like it's been made into a hamper or something - just bought and sold in it's raw state, all she did was buy it! I felt I had to comment on it and have sparked a bit of a FB row but despite being labelled as 'duplicate xmas presents' it's blatantly somebody who took the bits they didn't like from their bargains this morning and is now selling them on. I think if they had been lower prices it wouldn't bother me so much or the deception that it was duplicate presents. She denied she got them in the sale but too much of a coincidence! I guess it's none of my business really, which I also added to the comment - just winds me up!
Now come the vtech toys!
I can spot it all a mile away because I've been staring at it online or in store for the last day or two!
Rant over:mad:
Good for you! I'd be tempted to say something too, it's chavvy doing things like that, but same with the ebay selling, if people make £1 they think it's fab. It's a bit Del Boy Trotter though isn't it.
Happy moneysaving all.0 -

Thing is if people are willing to buy, then why not try and make a few pennies. For some people buying an individual item suits them (can't figure out why myself) and they obviously think they are are saving themselves a few pennies too, so WIN/WIN surely ?
I've been very good myself and bought £60 in goods that will do for b'days, not tempted to buy more than i need this year can't be doing with the clutter. How much ?????????!!!0 -

I saw absolutely no toys, they must have been cleared out early, hope this saves you the trip.
For non-toiletries, saw 2 onesie's, some Jamie Oliver olive bowls and some of those inexpensive pre-teen makeup things, such as little nail polish or eye shadow sets.
Thankyou - It would have been a wasted trip as only wanted a few sale toys to put away for pressies - happy with what I got earlier :A0 -
Just received this email from Boots  I hope it's only one or two items, they shouldn't take payment for stuff they don't have!!

I've just got the same email...............
*hyperventilates*I checked out maybe 3 or 4 minutes after 5am.
I hope they don't cancel the whole order.0 -
Haven't had an email yet, ordered around 6.45am. I will be incredibly narked if items are cancelled as 4 out of 5 of my items were actually in the store I visited this morning but avoided buying as I ordered online earlier.0
