2.5%? Nice. Should have thought of doing that in March knowing I would be looking for an ISA to put the £2500 from the Flex Direct into at the end of the initial 12 months.0 -

My Flexclusive ISA is paying 2% and had a letter this week informing me it was dropping to 1.5%....0 -

Go on then, I'll bite! What are these accounts, or more to the point, are they still available? I know there are all the current accounts offering 3% and a couple offering 4% for small amounts but wasn't aware of options in between at the moment....0 -

Quite possible they'd like to retain issue 3, 4, 5 and 6 customers at their respective current rates because Nationwide did manage their exposure a lot better on those issues.0 -

3% Lloyds/TSB/Santander
3.35% N&P e-family & family reg (closed issue)
3.75% Yorkshire reg issue 1 (closed issue)
4.00% Clydesdale
Also, recently opened 2 x Nottingham Reg 5% by post. (we live in Herts) I think they've closed that loophole now.0 -

Me too, I applied this morning, wasn't to bad only took 20 minutes on the phone, they stated should get the paperwork within a week. hopefully that will leave enough time for it to be fully set up before nationwide interest rate drops on 9 march.MFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..0 -
