When your FlexDirect account finishes, if you change it to a FlexAccount then you'll be eligible to re-upgrade to FlexDirect in a year and get another 5% (assuming they still offer it then).
When mine ended i was planning on closing it & then opening another a few days later.0 -

It is a bit of a hassle, but once opened it's a good account and worth having. I use the Clydesdale Direct Current Account as my main current account and have no complaints. Surely a little time on the phone is worth it for the 4% interest?
yeah your probably right, i will apply when am next off work0 -
All prepped to fill in the YB application tonight, fill in the details and am asked whether I want to go into a branch (no branches near me) or do it over the phone which I selected.
Seriously though, no electronic application?Interests: PCs. servers, networks, mobiles and music (esp. trance)0 -

Downgrade? Flexplus is a packaged account with a monthly fee, isn't it?0 -

I chose "go to branch" but they rang me!
It does seem odd that there's no online application for a "direct" i.e. online account. Their web interface is a bit strange too. Amongst other things, the buttons for continue/cancel are the wrong way round. Would probably suit a left-hander.0 -
