caught walking instead of wheelchair

I'd be worried due to misinterpretation - you can't see how much pain the person is in, etc. They may have walked to the shops seemingly with no problem; but you're not going to see them go into their house and be in bed for the next few days because of the pain this has caused.
i agree, but the issue the OP has is that they said they couldnt walk at all/WHEELCHAIR DEPENDANT.
IF THEY HAD NOTHING TO HIDE THEY WOULDNT BE WORRIED ABOUT THIS 'EVIDENCE'. BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY IT WOULD SHOW THEM STRUGGLING ON DOUBLE CRUTCHES.
BYT THEIR REACTION SEEMS TO IMPLY THAT IT MAY SHOW SOMETHING DIFFERENT0 -
It just depends on what you wrote on your DLA application. When you apply for DLA you don't state your worst days or your best days, you state your average days and that sometimes you are unable to walk, sometimes you can walk x distance with mobility aides.
My wife is paralysed from the waist down and she is classed as wheelchair dependent despite the fact that if she is careful she can use aides/the furniture to get from her wheelchair into bed, onto the sofa etc and she can get from the boot of her car to the driving seat.
As someone with English as a second language when I talk about mobility aides, should it be aids or aides?0 -

I've only ever seen it written as aids. Aide(s) is an assistant.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

But that's what you put on your form so can challenge it. You say I can do x on a good day but only 1 day in 5 is a good day and following days are needed to rest.
You don't say - I can NEVER do x because that's not the truth.
Eg gran uses a wheelchair 95% of the time - even in her home but is not dream of saying she is not capable of walking short distances because she is with her frame and does so.0 -
I can't see what the problem is - she has a video tape of you on crutches, so you would hardly be bounding around the garden briskly. You used your crutches instead of wheelchair because you were having a good day, you still can't walk unaided.0

Surely the answer here would be .... "I can't walk briskly" and not that you don't 'recall' it...0 -
Thank you everybody for your replies, I was also wondering I've been selling my packs of unused Euro Form incontinence pads which the local nhs supply me, but because I don't need them anymore I have been selling them on ebay for number of years now, would they look into that as well?0

Possibly, but you could just tell them you use them as a cushion for your wheelchair...;)0 -

I hope so! You could have just told the NHS that you no longer needed them instead of using them to line your pockets for years. But then you would have had to report the change to your medical condition. Assuming you are not a troll, you are sounding more and more crooked with every post.0
