A good day. Got the local workshop page up and publicised. Have 4 definites so far - but discovered a glitch in the Paypal buttons so will have to repost it all again tomorrow. Still will be good additional publicity!
Also last outstanding invoice has been paid this evening so I have added a total of £172.72 to my target - not bad for one day!
Hopefully when payment start to come in for the new workshop I'll have a bit more to add.
Dad comes home from hospital tomorrow so must be doing OK - having a kidney removed and out in 2 days - and at his age!0 -
Excellent news about your dad, thats great.
Erm, you were still posting at 1am, missus - norty mizmir2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Morning Mizmir,
Wow your dad is a real fighter. Love it that he has just sailed through such a big op. Bless him :T.
Fab news about you making £172 yesterday. Quite jealous of your brilliant little business. Its really taking off.
How are the Shingles now? Hope that wasn't what was keeping you awake at 1am this morning.
Have a great day x0 -

Quick update today. Can add £107.93 to my total from workshop payments this morning. Had a hiccup with the Paypal buttons yesterday but they seem to be OK now - will send another post out later today.
This will cover the hall hire so from now on it is more or less profit.0 -
Wow, that is a quick turn around with your Dad, hope he's safely home and your Mum can manage ok.
Great news on the Workshop front as well, all coming together really nicely - steady and solid is the way to go, especially considering your health too.
Did you get a break in the rain to get out with the dogs? Not been too bad here, heavy first thing and then at tea time.Back on the DFW Wagon:
CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/180 -
Hey Ali - no - it has been thoroughly miserable here all day and even the big guy who would normally be up for anything baulked at going out. So we've had a lazy day at home - everyone is very chilled out now! I think sometimes they like just hanging out.
Another workshop place sold and two more invoiced (discounted for rescue centres). So ticking away nicely. I forgot to resend the link so will do that tomorrow.
So I end the day with £160.86 and hopefully £65 due tomorrow. Making good progress to my target for the month and it is only a week in.
My father was kept in another day as they weren't happy about his oxygen levels. So hopefully he'll now be out tomorrow. I'm sure he is desperate to get home but best to stay put until they are 100% happy with his progress.0 -
Sorry he had to spend another night in, miz - I bet he won't be happy with that
and sometimes its about not sleeping properly in a strange place, my mum's got worse and worse with that.
Your workshop places are going amazingly well - good for you!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Thanks Karma. He got out last night - but not until about 10pm! Spoke to him this evening and he was quite cheerful and had had some decent food! Fingers crossed he keeps improving.
Another good day. Invoices have been paid so £65 more added to the month's income. Hasn't been a NSD as have had to put diesel in the car and pay for a birthday present but all in the budget.
Hope everyone has a great weekend0
