is this through the fluid site, or is it the mbna site? I cant find it, so a link or website address would be useful, if someone can post it.

It only comes up on the top, first listed card.

Thanks for the links guys. Just done a check, it's a no for the advertised one but has offered me MBNA Platinum 0% for 16 months BT, 0% for 16 months on money transfer (4% Fee), 3 months on purchases with an APR of 20.9%.

I'm not going to take it but would love to know if it would actually give me it if I continued. Anybody else had a similar offer and gone on to take it?

I,m going to compare it with the fluid one for a bit of fun, see what that says.

I was offered the same not sure about the APR I was offered though, but the same balance transfer and money transfer terms.

I went ahead and was approved.

Can people please give feedback if you get it or not when you used the checker and been offered an alternative.

Just asking for feedback to know how accurate or close the MBNA eligibility checker is.

    Thanks

  • I just did a check as the MSE eligability check said 20% MBNA came back with 'You might be eligable' basically try and see but I'm not very confident with a might be so might wait a few months and see what it says then. Just hope it still has the 0% transfer that I can take advantage of :-)

@Cantfindafreeuserid, are you talking about mse checker or you ve tried the one on the MBNA site.

were you offered an alternative card after your check or the check said you might be accepted?

Lastly, I think the check on the MBNA might be more accurate than the MSE checker as MBNA knows their internal criteria

  • MSE said 20% MBNA said maybe but didn't give another option hope that makes sense :-)

That said the MSE one was for MBNA but not sure it was the same card if that makes sense?

Either way I have poor credit and am desperatly trying to pay off my high interest everything :-( can't see me getting anything worth having any time soon :-)

Don't lose hope - your Credit rating will improve if you follow MSE's advice!
