It's such an exciting time (and an expensive time). Don't rush out buying everything until you have really thought about what you really really need as it's easy to get carried away spending on things you think you need rather than things your actually need0

Congratulations, we got our keys in January and this board has been amazingly helpful in reducing outgoings. Enjoy

all the best with the new place - I remember the excitement when I got the keys to my first flat
The very first thing I would do (well, apart from running round each & every room giggling frantically) would be to take the meter readings & advise the utilities. I would then think about changing the locks on the front & back doors. Then I would crack open a big bottle of bubbly/put the kettle on
enjoy your new house, it's a great feeling to walk through your own front door !"Science is a wonderful thing if one does not have to earn one's living at it" Einstein 19510 -
Hope you enjoy your new house. Take your time to get to know the house and then you can start to get those lovely things you like to make it into your new 'home'.0
