With it being almost a year to the day since OH received his redundancy notice I've been pondering how differently we do everything and a lot of its down to your pearls of wisdom. Every week I try something new/learn something. This week it'll be turkey marinated in brown sauce, beetroot and chocolate muffins and I shall get some sunflower seeds to use instead of pine nuts which came from one of the other sites someone recommended. My small contribution for the week is try leek and apple quiche and if you've got any off cuts of scrim [coarse linen type fabric] it makes a very good window cleaning cloth according to the Lakeland Plastics catalogue.
Anyway I just want to thank you all- this forum and the people on it have helped me get through what at times has been a very stressful but fruitful year!
Cheers

Well I can't speak for everyone but I'm just pleased to find somewhere where people might actually want to listen to me boring on about bread, butchers, farmshops, jam making and my dd's allergies.I've learnt so much as well,so I'm adding my thanks too - you are all wonderful :A0
