Also did three Sainsbobs shops tonight with Warburtons MOCs, buy in 2s and get £0.60 off rest of shopping.
One was to restock the essentials cupboard (basics stock cubes and stuffing) and some fizzy pop. The other two were for wine (never knew that Sainsbobs did basics wine at £3.50 a bottle - well, £2.90 a bottle now:)).
£15.74 shopping, paid £6.14.
The Warburtons are being donated (no room in my freezer), some to a work colleague who's hubby likes them - also told her about using them for Welsh rarebit (thanks to whoever mentioned this in the thread).'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

I'm not saying there isn't a case for SS involvement here but on the flip side if it....as a parent, if someone contacted SS about me, I'd want to know about it. Wouldn't you? And as the parent with care I do think it's right that SS should tell her of any allegations made against her.
Agreed, so why would SSM defend her colleagues?queen_of_cheap wrote: »Please let's not have arguments about this, it's depressing enough as it is

Her parents are very much money orientated so it was a good look that we were saving money. At the least I thought I was pleasing them.
When she left it was her parents who told her to strip the accounts!
All my wife did all day was 'faff' moving furniture from one side of the room to another! I could go upstairs and come down to fine the lounge or kitchen totally moved about, go upstairs and come down to find it in the previous position. God, it was challenging.
Scamps.
I think it's time you stopped defending your wife. She has treated you dreadfully and you can't blame mil for all of it.What she did must have been very well planned. She must have had plenty of time to know what she was doing.0 -

I had one SA who said he'd never seen a £10 pp before just as another popped out at the end of my shop:rotfl:To do is to be. Rousseau

and everything else in them was quality as well. Mostly champers and a few good sparkly wines. Not for everyone, but I was happy. They don't come up often though.
The boxes aren't usually as cheap....I've never saw them as low as £36 before
I had read review of the odd bottle of something sparkly appearing in think was a red box. I expect very rare.
Didn't realise they did stand alone sparkly boxes, I would not have paid £50 for 6 of anything though, I am fine without the fizz to keep the cost down, I'm not that fussy.
Just debating what to open tonight. :beer:0 -

The cannelloni is excellent, the four cheese ravioli not so good (at least the Count on Us version) - quite a lot of liquid in the tomato sauce, I opened up one corner of the covering before cooking to pour some of it off first.
And, since it was a genuine complaint, I emailed M&S and got this very nice reply:
Thanks for your email about the Count on Us four cheese ravioli you bought from us recently. I’m sorry you were disappointed with the quality of it.
We appreciate any customer feedback which will help us identify where we can still improve a product. It seems that, despite our rigorous quality controls with our supplier, we’ve not met expectations on this occasion.
I’d like to inform our Food technologists so they can investigate and take steps to make sure the highest standards are being met. Please take any available packaging and your receipt to the Food Information Desk in your local store. My colleagues there will be able to capture all the information from it so we can pass it on. They will, of course, also offer you a full refund.
So I'll be taking in the packaging (two lots, actually) for a refund; it's just a shame I didn't keep the receipt.:)
I am the only one who buys food in our house, and have always been obsessive in feeding the children meat!
I do love the idea of you taking the original receipt back... yes I know I received £27 of food for £5..... please can I have a refund!
I could come and observe!:p:p:p:p:p
