It's ok TS I know I have a problem.
Just remembered the time I got banned from buying any more tins when the stack fell over in the larder, well out of the larder on to OH, he chucked a tin of soup out of the way and it exploded over the kitchen floor.
I'm sure I might have mentioned that one when it happened.0 -

Now that is dedication to the cause, in the unending pursuit of bargains and savings. So, my question is
What is the most outrageous or extreme thing you have done in the quest for a bargain?
That 'MSE forumite of my acquaintance' has PMed me:
"It was a guy in the shop we bought our appliances for the kitchen from that told us. Said that his sister in law did it when her waters broke in Tesco, and she got free nappies and baby products for a full 12 months!"
Thanks for all the replies to the question, though, just been reading back through them. My favourite is from TS, if only so she doesn't feel so guilty about it any more - it's OK, you are forgiven, for deep down you are :AThink the most dangerous thing I have done is go chasing round Ts stores for bargains during the big 90% kitchen glitch when really I should have been packing and getting an early night for long drive to Hull the next day.
I don't think I got anymore than couple of hours sleep before I set off the next morning with the kids in the car for a sport competition. I look back now and think how irresponsible it was. I still have not opened half the stuff either, all waiting for my new kitchen one day. So it's not like I really needed it there and then.'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

I would if I was you brad. The febreeze and regular are definitely not working. The colour was still working, but someone earlier had it not appear on the APG and there's been no results since then, so that could be all over as well.
For the future.....I know you're a busy boybut with glitches like this one, try and do your order to be picked up as soon as you can. They can finish at any time like we've seen today HTH
