My invite must have got lost in the post :(
That 'MSE forumite of my acquaintance' has PMed me:
"It was a guy in the shop we bought our appliances for the kitchen from that told us. Said that his sister in law did it when her waters broke in Tesco, and she got free nappies and baby products for a full 12 months!"

Thanks for all the replies to the question, though, just been reading back through them. My favourite is from TS, if only so she doesn't feel so guilty about it any more - it's OK, you are forgiven, for deep down you are :A

You would not be trying to get an invite to my party would you? :rotfl:

When I think back with a drive of nearly 300 miles next day I really should have been tucked up I bed. It was a good job it was a hotel stopover next night, time to recover. :o

The embarrassing thing was I had to leave OH with a lounge full of kitchen utensils all weekend as there was no time to pack it all away, most of it is still on top of DD3s wardrobe. It was such an amazing glitch. :money:

    Anyone else remember it?

And the number of tyres slashed, cars keyed, people who post a significant targeting your children... we adhere to legislation, policy and procedure.. but we are not miracle workers!

Nice to know there is another one of us on here x

And me, that makes three so far.

  • Evening all :hello:

Just having me a little catch up, probably pointless as I'll be going to bed soon and no doubt the nightshift will be in full swing with it being Friday :D Bah I hate working weekends! :rotfl:

i have decided when we go home, im going to have £50 for a months shopping and thats it , unless of course there is a massive glitch. I will need to fill the fridge and get fresh things

Some on here seem to manage :rotfl:

I on the other hand will have an empty freezer to fill once oh has disinfected it in daylight.

His comment just now  "at least it was all cheap" :rotfl:

    It's ok TS I know I have a problem. :o

Just remembered the time I got banned from buying any more tins when the stack fell over in the larder, well out of the larder on to OH, he chucked a tin of soup out of the way and it exploded over the kitchen floor.

I'm sure I might have mentioned that one when it happened. :o

Sympathies TS :D - I had a similar occurrence yesterday when OH was reclaiming some space in the loft and almost fell out of the hatch. He knocked some of my stash over in the process and one fell out and exploded all over the walls  I'm glad our neighbours are a bit hard of hearing :rotfl::rotfl:
