Where did I say SS killed these kids?

SS have let QOC's nephew down thus far and will bear responsibility if anything happens to him. Relect on that.

    stop covering your colleagues backs.

    Rant over.

Lets not have an argument. No one here knows all the facts here. I like to look at both sides of a situation before I make my mind up.
I'm not saying there isn't a case for SS involvement here but on the flip side if it....as a parent, if someone contacted SS about me, I'd want to know about it. Wouldn't you? And as the parent with care I do think it's right that SS should tell her of any allegations made against her.

when peeps are doing these burger shops, are you using the PP from the previous day as part payment?
If so, does the SA ever say anything?
I always feel guilty handing over a big PP and receiving another one back from the same shop.

    It's none of their business;)

That's what the solicitor said, it traces back to her!

Her parents are very much money orientated so it was a good look that we were saving money. At the least I thought I was pleasing them. :o

When she left it was her parents who told her to strip the accounts!

All my wife did all day was 'faff' moving furniture from one side of the room to another! I could go upstairs and come down to fine the lounge or kitchen totally moved about, go upstairs and come down to find it in the previous position. God, it was challenging. :o

It is hard for you Scamps, but at least the furniture will stay in the same place (now you have changed the locks!) xx

    Sending lots of hugs xxx

Unfortunately it is not uncommon for parents to make false allegations about each other or to have different standards of behaviour and that is not for social services to sort out. They are mostly not resourced to deal with parenting issues but to identify and attempt to minimise risk. However I would hope they have recorded the referral and if the school for instance also notice issues with your nephew and refer it is likely ss will investigate further.
Not an easy situation to be in.

There are different standards but swearing in front of and at your children isn't on. Neither is constantly yelling at the kids at home and out and about. We can't prove the being left at home allegation but it couldn't be ignored. If any of us had spoke to her about it, we'd have been met with the proverbial hand. Our hands were/are tied and we can only do what we think is best at the time :( hopefully one day, when he's older, he'll understand that we did our best for him :)

FC can you taste the difference between a £3.99 and £40 bottle of wine? I don't know why I am asking this as I like lambrini!

    :o:o:o

    Let's just say I don't like lambrini :D :rotfl::rotfl:

No rightly or wrongly I enjoy nice wine, especially the bubbly sort :)

M&S coupon shop today - £10 meal deal (veggie), 3 ready meals, 3 tins of soup, plus reduced tub of flapjack (not in pic, also millionaire shortbread not in pic - forgot to include!). Got the flapjack as I was unsure about wine price (no SEL), so got it to make sure the total was over £25.
    Total £27.63 ... £7.63 to pay.
This was at SS till, and SA was stood next to me the whole time (I was only customer), watched me scan both coupons, even watched me accidentally put both coupons in the carrier bag (oops!), and even watched me put just one £10 note in slot to pay. He never batted an eyelid. Must be my cheeky smile.

I'd done my homework before I went, and drawn up a list of all the possible options, with RRPs, offers, and totals before discount. Then worked out several different buying options, which I scribbled down on another list.

I have only been using one store about a mile away but the young ones boys and girls don't bother at all except for one wee guy ( company !!!!!) who took a m7s coupon from me after watcing me pay for my shop.
