    Mortgage-free Glee!
Guess who made a complete plonker of herself this morning on one of Cambridge's busiest roads? :D

I had locked my bike up outside a post office, when I came out I threw my bag in my basket jumped on my bike and started peddling only to practically fall flat on my face.
I had forgotten to unlock it. :rotfl:
Loads and loads of motorists all sat in their cars probably having a right giggle at my expense.
    I'm such a doughnut :D:rotfl:

Still it was worth it to get to Sada.
The very lovely lad who packed my order explained that they didn't have the 16 wash size febreze Ariel so he had substituted it with the 24 wash one . :j:j
    Happy days :rotfl:

    Oh Mrs , ouchy !

  • A certain MSE forumite of my acquaintance who is expecting her first baby (due date yesterday:eek:) has found out (from mumsnet I think) that if a pregnant woman's waters break in certain shops, then those retailers will reward the new mum as a gesture of goodwill, with gift vouchers, free goods, discounts etc etc. According to her hubbie, she is now been planning which shops are nearest and which might offer the best rewards. Now that is dedication to the cause, in the unending pursuit of bargains and savings.:rotfl:

So, my question this afternoon is
What is the most outrageous or extreme thing you have done in the quest for a bargain?

I don't mean things like, say, using a coupon, going outside and taking off your coat and going back in to use another coupon so that the SA doesn't recognise you - that's for beginners. I'm thinking more of telling outrageous porky-pies, or missing an important meeting or family gathering.:)

Think the most dangerous thing I have done is go chasing round Ts stores for bargains during the big 90% kitchen glitch when really I should have been packing and getting an early night for long drive to Hull the next day. :o

I don't think I got anymore than couple of hours sleep before I set off the next morning with the kids in the car for a sport competition. I look back now and think how irresponsible it was.

I still have not opened half the stuff either, all waiting for my new kitchen one day. So it's not like I really needed it there and then.

My Mystery wine has arrived thanks OP, Mr T must know I need to lose a bit of weight, one of the whites is a Weight Watchers one. :rotfl:

Have to let Mr TS do bit work on lappie now but will try and work out the worth of the boxes later. The red looks a better buy than the white at first glance.
