All a bit crazy here as the builders started the extension on Monday:T
We did not realise how the dust would get everywhere
They are going at a good pace but we want doors with glass in the top half and were being told we have to have plain brown doors as they don't do them with glass at the width we need for a power-chair:mad:
I'm going to find out how much it will cost to get them made if we have no joy as I like the way the light goes through the house down stairs as our old house was so dark.

:T:T:T:T:T yay to extension, boooooooooo to dust:mad::mad::mad: it will settle for weeks, i clean at a house that had an extension it was a nightmare for weeks after:eek::eek:

Hope you get the doors you want:)

I take it these are internal doors. If so then if individual doors are over around 950mm wide it is the weight of the glass that is the problem. To get round this have a good quality perspex put in instead. If external doors then having single insetead of double glazing would get round weight issue. Other option would be to change to a good quality sliding internal door. If still in building stay could have sliding into resses so invisible when open.
Don't let builder make you rush decisions you need what will suit ds3 best.

Your spot on VT as it's 1000mm wide internal doors.I didn't even think about the weight of the glass:) we now got little mans OT keeping an eye on this.We will make sure ds3 is sorted:cool:

In case anyone doesn't know, quidco have launched another cashback mobile app like clicksnap/shopitize etc. It's called CheckoutSmart.

It currently has all the same offers as ClickSnap, plus one more: 50p when you spend £10 in any supermarket.

I read on another thread that you can't claim for the same receipts on ClickSnap *and* CheckoutSmart but I haven't done tests yet.

Just one thing, when registering on CheckoutSmart, it needs a longer/better password than ClickSnap. It kept rejecting my registration until I added a new numbers at the end of the password.

Hope this helps the cashback fiends!!!
