I agree regards 10p. Not enough to make the effort, but it's nice when you also have a coupon AND a price comparison, eg, recently with McCain Wedges...

    AvS, £2 v £1 so £1.10 APG
    50p MOC
    Clicksnap 15p
    TCB 10p [now finished?]
    ..and now possibly CheckoutSmart 15p

We need to get back to Cashback deals like we saw on Corona Extra and San Miquel.

I had a 20% deal showing on the McCain wedges on msm. Better to get the more expensive (£2) ones - was originally vs M on the Lightly Spiced, then I think it became vs T as well and is probably either vs T or M now or just vs M. I'm waffling again, so take a look yourselves peeps!:)

Oh yeah, Kipling Manor House Cake in 2s vs M (in theory) - M 2 for £2 - but why would you?!?

Have just been reading the article about a judge

That is maybe going to be put into force

Lightly explained as for mothers who stop fathers

From seeing children at the moment it is endless

Court rulings when the mother just disobeys the courts

And this judge wants to have a system of 3 court orders

Not followed by mother then father takes custody

I think this is a good idea as so often children are used as pawns

And it is clear that the break ups of families are hard enough

To cope with and adults using children as weapons is so sad

So beware when you choose to have a baby with someone

You are signing up to that baby and father to be in your life forever

Has anyone else gone through a cashback site to get home insurance quotes and compared to the price direct or through comparison sites? I have just had one example where the insurance quote (with identical details) was £150+ more when going "direct" through TCB compared to going through a comparison site.

It seems to me that some of the cashback deals that we had when they first launched are now a thing of the past ... when they have a landing page that indicates the cashback site then in some cases they seem to be inflating the price (unless I am missing something obvious).

Are peeps still managing to find the M&S store vouchers freely?
I can`t believe i popped into my local before chrimbo to pick up an order and picked some of these vouchers up, but can not seem to find them now, i have a sneaky feeling i may have thrown them out as there is no way i would usually spend £25 in M&S on food:eek:, as much as i would love to :(.

I have just signed up to the greenredeem thing and hoping that i can pick some more vouchers up instore tomorrow when i go and try for the meal deals....,
can someone please confirm, if i get 2 meal deals the total before discount should come to at least £25 yeah?

also, do these meal deals only include wine?
neither myself nor OH are wine drinkers and would much prefer a beer option ;)

Bloody hell I thought maybe a glitch had happened today but I see SSM has just been talking to herself again!

It's only blooming Friday tomorrow. Have never been happier to see it come around. I have a pretty dress to wear and am going to a party :j

I will catch up properly with you all at the weekend but have some hugs. Maybe some inappropriate bum touching. Good night.

I have been reading about this recently too. I agree with all that you say, it is wrong when kids are used by either parent when break ups happen :( and it happens far too often
Sadly I can't see a proposal like this ever going through, things are rarely that straightforward :( and think how traumatic it would be for a child to be forced into a whole new set of circumstances. What if the father didn't actually want custody.....just contact? And so many other possible scenarios.
I don't know what the answer is, or even if there is one. Society has changed so much. You are older (said with the utmost respect :) ) than the people that think this sort of thing is acceptable, for the most part. That's not to say it didn't happen in the past
I really do think that it would be better to find ways for non resident parents to have an easier route to access to their children.nThe children's act was supposed to address these issues but sadly it falls woefully short :(

...and besides what would Jeremy Kyle do? (joke :D)

    oops....essay alert :rotfl:

    ....when Im prime minister ;):rotfl::rotfl:
