Virgin travel insurance are pretty reasonable with decent cover. Not sure on the cash back side of things (I haven't ventured into cash back yet :rotfl:)

    Thanks.
I had an ms direct yearly policy for last 13 years as was cheap for travel industry when was with ex. Looked them up and actually m and s but doubt I could get the level of cover I had before for £33 a year.
Something to investigate later. Have to sleep in dgd room as she is very light sensitive when asleep so I will have tablet under duvet.
    Such fun

    Evening peeps. :)

Thankyou for last night, my head was in a bit of a spin!!
Been very productive today. Locks changed and a couple of new padlocks on the sheds, thanks to a mate. After texting my wife about the gas and electric keys, she told me her mother has put them in the house somewhere!! So after 3 hours of searching, I found them.... In the bottom of a box of rice crispies. I know they're trying to wind me up but I wont bite.

No hospital today as the appointment was cancelled, 2 weeks until next one. Picked up a second hand sofa as well, so I have somewhere to sit. :)

    Thankyou Willowwispy. :A

Glad you found your gas and elec keys, what a funny place for her to hide them.

Sorry your appointment was cancelled aswell.

    Evening :)

Scamps, glad to hear you have a couple of things sorted out. More importantly that you found your electricity and gas thingys. I don't know what they are :o but I gathered that you need them.

My building work is already turning into a bit of a mare :( Im having to have a floor ripped up that I wasn't expecting.....one that has already been beautifully tiled :(
Since Ive got a crazy mixed up (but it works) heating system that's on the 'to do' list, it has been decided that we'd be as well having a new heating system installed whilst we have all the disruption going on. More mess, muddy footprints and freezing coldness because there will be no heating :o On the plus side.....another step closer to having a normal house :T:T

Bet that's not doing your OCD much good lol

Evening all. Sorry to hear of your problems scamps. Sadly some women are just nutters, this coming from a woman. My mum was an absolute nightmare when she went off on one. I remember her chucking all my dad's clothes out the window for no apparent reason. My sister and I made a long stick to get my dad's underwear off the guttering where it was flapping for all to see.

Picture of my little haul from local tesco, only went in for milk.

Could you tell me the prices please

    :)

Once is done, that's my downstairs finished :T:T when I was at the auction with my Dad and he was buying this place :A I still remember him saying '2 years and a bit of graft and you'll have your palace'........that was over 5 years ago :o. If I could've seen in front of me then, I would've run a mile from it:eek:

TS....what will you do with your stashes if you get builders in..? Maybe you need an extension?......with room for a freezer (or 2) ;):D

Aww bless FC, I'm sure it will have been worth it once it is all finished. :)

Plan is first thing to get done is get the old asbestos garage taken down and have a proper brick built one that can store stashes. :D

Not sure what we will do with the push bikes and junk Mr TS stores out there while we get it done. I think we may have to have a gazebo up permanently for a while.

With everything stored from the bathroom out there that will be 2nd on the list and then downstairs will get a look in. Mr TS has lots of ideas for the kitchen but I am not keen on any of them. It has been causing a few cross words. :o

I seem to be running low on these and have become quiet partial to the taste, had a normal instant coffee today and it tasted yuk:(

    any help muchly appreciated, thanks
