Could any of you give me some advice please?
Have just found out that my 14 yr old son was stupid enough to take his wallet to school yesterday (he needed £2, was running late, so just picked up his wallet). Wallet contained £200 - all of his Xmas and birthday money. He was also idiotic enough to leave it in school changing rooms while he played in a basketball match after school. Needless to say - wallet stolen :(
He has confessed to DH while they are out, he will be back in approx 30 mins and I am totally furious with him - all kinds of sanctions are running through my mind - grounded for X amount of time/ no more basketball for the rest of school year/has to do chores to the value of the money lost etc etc.
Do you agree that he should be punished for leaving his wallet unattended?
    All sensible suggestions considered ....
Thanks for any advice, I am really struggling to rationalise this one. Obviously the thief is to blame, but son does know that things get stolen from school changing rooms. Will ring school tomorrow, but he has told teachers today and I don't think anything can be done xx

Well done........the curse has been lifted
Thanks TM, that curse has been hanging over me for quite a while now!!

Or, does the fact that I was beaten the test run by 26 may 1999 mean that the curse is still in effect?:p:p

    Hi honeyz.

    Hope you are all OK.

Back from a very long day!

Has anyone used the bread vouchers? Did they work?

Not much left, but the big Boots store in Leeds city centre had up to 50% off fragrance gift sets (not the nasty celebrity ones, the Joop/CK/Davidoff etc ones), and a further 10% off as well. Not sure if this would be 10% off the original price or 10% after the 50% off if you know what I mean. I was tempted but decided not to in the end. Not sure if this is nationwide, but for any West Yorkshire folk, this could be useful.

Hi Mimi......in my Boots order .........why did I order the Hairy Bikers. Condiment set with a spanner spoon:eek:.......I have a couple of Boots No 7 vouchers.....sure lots of us will have them.....are there any glitches we can use them on ATM....thank you:A

Aah bless him.. I don't usually comment but I'm sure he feels bad enough and losing the money is quite a harsh punishment on it's own

tell me to shut it if you wish :o
