Hope SB will be seeing the same GP you spoke to, Kissjenn.
Enjoy your lunch with Lovely Agent.0 -
Well that went a bit wrong.
SB turned up at GP for his 10:20 appt and I was leaving for lunch at 11:30. GP is exactly 2 minutes from the house.
11:45 no sign and starting to worry, cancel lunch with many apologies.
12:10 SB turns up and hasn't seen GP. He forgot to tell them he was there and sat in the waiting room for over an hour and a half. Remembered my lunch at 12 so then went to reception and said he was sorry but he had to leave. He now has an appointment for Thursday at 11:20. I've phoned surgery to explain and apologise but they're fine with it. Dr had just finished up with last patient when he "appeared".
So now he's stressed as his plans are all wrong. He's going to go to charity shop via subway for lunch because that was his plan. I'll shall keep well out of his way.
So now I'm stressed and hungry but very relieved he's home.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
Sorry to hear your plans went pear-shaped. Can't believe that about the tenant by the way! Some people are just so ........! Words fail me! You don't need this sort of hassle at the moment.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

I'm saving that phrase for later.... :rotfl:
The nausea thing must be truly awful KJ, there really is something deeply unpleasant about feeling sick isn't there. "Big old wimpy you" by the way is not in the least BIT wimpy - given the option between "feeling like absolute carp" or "feeling like a zombie, but less absolute carp" anyone with ANY common sense whatsoever would take option 2!You strike me as a lady with an awful lot of common sensicalness about you, which is entirely borne out by your option 2 conclusion!

Thank you.
Well tenant who stopped paying rent and demanded I redecorate her house has shoved the keys through the letter box and vanished. Sent me a text saying I ruined her and her boys, lives. Sent one back saying I offered you nothing but help and support and you threw it back in my face. Grrrr. At least she's gone so will assess the damage there tomorrow.
So two flats in two days. Maybe we can get this back on an even(ish) keel.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
Good news on the tenant (aside from the text message! rude bint!), really sorry about SB, doctors surgeries are such busy places. Mine has huge waiting room and you can't see a bit of it. People are always being left behind the doors and religiously one of the receptionists will say something like ooooo we didn't see you there! no !!!! Sherlock!
Fingers crossed for even keel and lovely doctors (cont)

Thanks buffy.
Woke up to lots of roof pictures, as you do! Seems flat where tenant hadn't paid for a year also neglected to tell us that the storms had damaged the roof so ceilings had started collapsing due to water damage. Do the people possess any brains or conscience.
So now emergency roof repairs, dry out time, ceilings redone then painting decorating etc. She'd also managed to rip virtually every kitchen cupboard door off and trash the cooker. There must be a special place in hell reserved for these folk.
Repair man going out to "my life's been ruined" tenant tomorrow. I'll brace myself!!

I rather like to think that when they arrive at the gates of hell, there's an imperious looking leather-clad demon there who raises a supercilious eyebrow, sniffs haughtily and says "Do You MIND?
