Received a cheque from Barclaycard today for £1,122.76
and a bank transfer from NRAM for £206.02 (Other £1,790.32 going against balance with Marlin)

Spoke to Barclaycard also about the 2 goldfish cards and they said no PPI on them. Getting no joy out of Lloyds or HBos so probably going to have to admit defeat on those.
Have you any statements on goldfish ?
I was told no ppi but I have most of my statements clearly with PPI
The FOS upheld my complaint but barclays have not paid redress yet
Am delighted in general though how my PPI journey is going.
Just down to Lloyds now, (Loan and Credit Card)

Well done on your success :T

    Thank you :)

re other point. I'm afraid I don't have paperwork.
As I was racking up debt in 2005 I tended to bin everything.
It's only down to the fact that I have an online DMP with Stepchange / CCCS that allowed me to contact creditors in January with address details and account numbers.

Didn't think I would get as much as I did. Quite amazing with no paperwork that I have only had 1 refusal.
I filled out every form exactly the same with total honesty saying I had no recollection but felt I didn't need it as my company did give full sick pay for 12 months.

Lloyds loan and Lloyds Credit card to go and then its time to cash up and start and make some offers for full and final settlement.

Received response to Sar Letter today from Hbos saying they will provide details of PPI paid etc within 40 days.
Does'nt change refusal but handy to know.

just waiting back for a response from LLoyds Credit Card and Capital One. Then that will bring my PPI journey to an end.

Next step is to try and secure some F&F settlements.
Cash is going into a building society account (when I open one) and then with the advice and support of Stepchange (spoke to a lovely lady yesterday who went through the F&F basics with me yesterday) will begin the next stage of my debt clearing journey.

One of the final messages I would say here is that everyone should check to see if they have had PPI.

Phone or write to your creditors. All of them were positive over the phone with me (even though I didn't have any paperwork) and sent forms out straight away.

Fill in the form honestly with your circumstances back then. Everyones circumstances and reasons are different.

Do it yourself. Do not use a Claims Management Company.
You are giving away upto 30% of any potential refunds for very little. You still have to fill the forms in.

If unsure ask on this wonderful site for advice. There are lots of people willing to help. I was a total novice at the start of the year and now I know a little and am available to help.

    Right thats it for now.
Will update when i hear back from remaining cases

    Bank passing on number.
Why would the Bank pass your number to a claims firm AFTER you've already successfully complained?

Almost everyone gets these calls, even people who've never had a loan or credit card. They get the details from the electoral roll etc, your personal financial details are not available to them...

    Was typo
Did mean to type Question Mark as in

Bank passing on my number ?
Just thought I would ask. Never had a call like that before. What made it even weirder is they hung up when I replied. When I rang them back they answered with hello. This is company and you're speaking to
