Everyone Welcome! It's never too late to join....
Please highlight your AFDs in Red
Don't hesitate to let me know if I've made a mistake! What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
:j for you ElusiveLucy - well done!
Thanks Dizzy. I am feeling quite positive at the moment. Although it was challenging at the time to avoid a nice glass of wine or three on Sunday, now that it is done I feel good about it. I also went to the gym last night! Just need to keep the momentum going now.
Challenge for next weekend if to have Sunday AF again and try and cut down on Fri/Sat so I am within the 14 units. What goes around comes around.....I hope!0 -

7/25 AFDs today. I had to come home from work at lunchtime, as I was feeling so unwell, and it wasn't down to a hangover. I guess it's time to go to the doctors.
Fellow parkrunners: I'm feeling incensed tonight because Little Stoke (near Bristol) parish council have voted to start charging parkrun. parkrun is a FREE timed 5k run that takes place throughout the UK and many other countries each Saturday morning. I've done over 100 parkruns, and what I love about it is the inclusiveness, supportiveness and sense of community it engenders. You can turn up at any venue and you know you'll be made very welcome. Whether you finish in 16 minutes or 90 minutes, you'll be cheered on.What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
7/20 please Shaggy0

There are a lot of lovely things to say about Br!ttany F3rr!i3s, not the least of which is that passengers are welcome to take their own supplies of drinks into the dining areas and borrow a glass with which to quaff said B3ck$ B1u3. I expect if I'd asked for some ice I'd have been given some, too. Roscoff, Morlaix and St Pol de Lyon were as lovely as always, hot, sunny and friendly. I gave them all a wave from you, Maman. They said, 'Merci!' and sent you a cheerful wave back. Sadly, yet again, by the time we got to the garden centre we wanted to go it, they'd shut for a two hour lunch. Very civilized, the French. OH managed to load up on Fitou and Merlot etc. I can't do any 'No Trash Days' until my week of birthday celebrations are over. Obvs.
13/30 please, Shaggy.Better is good enough.0
