Morning all - absolutely glorious spring morning out the window! 13/15 for me please Shaggy.
stupotstu, really well done on getting to seven days straight!! :T:T:T
Have been thinking how to structure the rest of the month, and will do two extra AF days - so my AF days for rest of month will be tomorrow (Wed), Mon 28th, Tues 29th and Thurs 31st. I might throw in Sunday as well but will see how I go.
I'm still a bit concerned about imbibing too much on my days off and am thinking I ought to plan a structure for those days and then declare it here too but will come back to that.0 -
I've been quietly ignoring the voice in my head reminding me about my commitment on here. And now that there is barely enough month left to hit my target of 14 my attention is back on my drinking. Last minute excitement and adrenaline rush to make it interesting at least!
I'd like to commit to being AF today. I need 9 more AFDs this month and I think there are 10 days left in March. I have been eating and drinking all the wrong things and my fight back starts here. Weighing in at WW later today - eek!0 -
Well done on the seven days, StuPotStu, and the emergency evasive action, Satchmo.
We were catching up on recorded TV progs last night, and Louis Theroux was on The Last Leg talking about his up and coming programmes. One of them is about booze. As his take on most things is quite interesting that should be worth watching.
Over Easter we've got a feast with friends planned. We only have this particular event once a year and it's an eight hour marathon of booze, fabulous food, silly gifts, lots of laughter and after 20 years of doing it - reliable fun. It's always followed bya recovery breakfast on Sunday morning. Last year I did it for the first time boozeless and it was every bit as much fun as it had always been much to my surprise, so this year I'm looking forward to it. And even more importantly, not feeling really terrible for the whole of the next day, thus writing off the whole weekend. I honestly don't know how I kept up the pace all those years.
22/31 please, Shaggy.Better is good enough.0 -
17/21 for me today please. Awful what's going on in Brussels. Still our great leader is "chairing a COBRA meeting" about it so we can all rest easy!0

WBF -Hope it all goes well for you at WW, it's a positive step on your journey, as booze is loaded with calories. I am a SW convert, and before my recent op I had lost 35lbs. I am just praying that I've maintained as I have another 14lbs to go before I reach target.
Honey - How lovely meeting up with chums for an Easter feast. Over 20 years you must have built up a bank of fond memories. I hope you have a lovely time and as you've already managed last year AF, then this year will hopefully be a lot easier for you, have fun!
1 AFD for last night please Shaggy. Good luck with the PT sessions. I've thought about it, but paying DL membership is enough. I love it there (when I was able to go), as I've found the mix of classes good, the HItt class is always a challenge. Are you a member of a gym, as Stu-Pot quite rightly says if you belong to a gym it's a good place to start.
Lovely spring day here, woke up to 3 deer grazing in the field opposite my house, magical x
Arkers x0 -
I think I've cracked it! Looked at a bottle of my home-made Sloe gin last night, smiled and put it away in the cupboard! :j Decided I'd rather have a clear head today and have started getting good sleep again, so I'm not about to lose that :j So I'm on 21/31 up until last night - thanks Shaggy x
I'd love a PT but haven't got the cash ATM with all the house renovations. With all the running around I do, I should be like a finely-tuned Whippet. Sadly more Bassett Hound, I fear...0 -
Well done Stupotstu, Dizzy and everyone else who is winning this last week.
Dizzy I am also skint so may need to start running as it is free. However I am less whippet and more like python that has swallowed a goat!! Not really a good look for running in public.Do I really need it? Probably not.:A0 -
Dizzy, well done

I daren't run - I'd get black eyes...0 -
Sorry I've been MIA but March is proving a very busy and social month.
