    Everyone Welcome!!!
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Thanks Shaggy for the dancing star, probably my fault you missed it, can't highlight in red on my iPad only on my computer at work and can't be on here on that during the day!!

Went to a 50th birthday dinner party last night and did have a couple of glasses of the celebratory sparkly but there was also red and white wine on the table and I drank the water instead! Enjoyed myself just as much and ready for the day ahead.

Not an AFD for me today but checking in with you all to remind myself to keep it low.

    That's a great idea.:)
I try to do the same.

I've got things well under control except that I always drink too much, too quickly on my chosen drinking days. I don't think it alters my overall consumption as I just stop mid-evening and make a cuppa but I'm not pleased with myself.

    Hello Everyone :-)

One more for last night and add in another for tonight taking me to 6 AF so far this month.

This afternoon i had to take myself off for a walk and then had an afternoon snooze to kill off some time when there was several dangerously tempting crisp, zesty white wines in the fridge dying for me to sample them this afternoon.
In laws coming for dinner tonight but definitely won't be drinking then. They know I'm have a detox period after last holiday so won't question my sobriety and the real reasons why.

Hope this finds you all well and raring for the next week.

Can you put me down for 2 ALDs for yesterday and today please shaggy. I had a glass of wine when out for dinner last night and a G&T at lunch today. Think they count as ALDs.

Not an AFD today, as we celebrated Mother's Day with both my sons, my mum and my sister. It was a planned alcohol day. Mum was funny, we were talking about running 10k (about an event 30 years ago) and she obviously misheard, interjecting with a story about a cousin reacting to an earthquake tremor in San Francisco.

    I hope everyone's had a good day.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Out for dinner tonight, no drinks with dinner but was sorely tempted to stop for wine on the way home. Decided to come home and have a cuppa instead so 5/12 for tonight. The curry out for Mother's Day was bad enough as I'm going to slimming world. Out tomorrow as well, but to a fish restaurant so that will be okish for SW but a bottle of wine is included so not AF tomorrow.

Almost half way to target so March is going a lot better than February did :)
