Good morning everyone,
Bright blue sun shiny day here, and I'm hangover free! 1 AFD for yesterday! Hope everyone has a good start to the week.

Finding things harder than i expected, which proves i do need to be here. No more afd's since Thursday. I have no wine in so I hope to start clocking up some decent afs. I feel like I'm letting myself and the kids down.
Things to remember:
I sleep better
I am more productive morning and evening
I eat better and healthier
Reasons I need to remember. ......Live for the moment and plan for the future0 -

Hello Everyone :-)
One more for last night and add in another for tonight taking me to 6 AF so far this month.
This afternoon i had to take myself off for a walk and then had an afternoon snooze to kill off some time when there was several dangerously tempting crisp, zesty white wines in the fridge dying for me to sample them this afternoon.
In laws coming for dinner tonight but definitely won't be drinking then. They know I'm have a detox period after last holiday so won't question my sobriety and the real reasons why.
Hope this finds you all well and raring for the next week.

Thanks CuppaTea. As you put in your last update it leads to more productive evenings & mornings.
Today is the first time I am going back to the gym after my December incident. It didn't mentally sit well with me that I was fit and muscular then used it to beat someone. Its over 10 weeks since it happened and there have been no repeats. Mind you, there weren't any before which has made the whole situation doubly bad & confusing.
What I do know is that I've somewhere crossed a line, let my alcohol discipline slide and I'm so far down I can never recover. Its the alcohol that needs to go, not the fitness.
Today though is day 7 AF and for that I am delighted.
Good Luck to anyone fighting a battle today.

Morning :hello:
1 AFD for yesterday.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0
