hellooo!
I managed it! I was exhausted and my poor worn out system was saying 'enough's enough' so I made the decision to not drink and stuck to it.
I woke every two hours, as I did previously, but today I feel more hopeful, if a bit overwhelmed still.
My brain seems to take a while to piece itself together in a great scary change not wholly of my choice, and my gut reaction was to drink. It's a kind of helpless part of me going way back that knows no different. I've learnt something about myself anyway, that helpless part is still there and needs a lot of TLC.
1/10 AFD please shaggy0 -
Hi All, popping in for the first time this month I think...and I haven't been drinking too much recently. I have 3AFDs under my belt and probably today will be AF too (as we don't have any wine in the house).
Can I set a moderate target for 15 please Shaggy?
I'm busy sorting stuff in the house and selling of bits and pieces ready to move in the summer...Trying to keep in budget.

Afternoon :hello:
1 more ALD for yesterday.
Just bought my 3rd "With Deepest Sympathy" card in one week(All people in their 80s).
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0
