19/31 for me please Shaggy0

I still feel I'm about to fail at any moment though.
Kind regards
Poppety.
In time that will get easier. I used to wait until I was almost ready to fall into bed before posting as I couldn't trust myself not to cave in.
Now I post early in the day and it seems to help me that once the decision is made I stick to a it.0 -
Another early one, but 16/25 AFDs today0

Morning:hello:
1 more AFD for yesterday.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Can I change my target please?14/23 including tonight
I originally set my target of 30 when there were only 29 days left to go, first mistake. Then I thought I could go from no afd to every day free, and it's seems I can't/won't. I've decided not to beat myself up about it, after all it is a start and 14 AFD so far this month is still more than I had all last year. I have a weekend away and I've added one more day to give a target of 23 AFD in January.
In some ways it feels like cheating to change the target, but I don't want to be in a position of having failed and it only being the 19th!
I think that's called 're-deciding' NewMe, a jolly useful strategy when one discovers more or different information. If you've already achieved more AFDs this month than you did in the whole of last year I'd say that was one heck of an achievement! So, being realistic about what you can do by the end of the month sounds like a great plan. Go you!
20/31 please, Shaggy. Those little yellow smileys this month look really cheerful.Better is good enough.0 -

juliethemuse, I so agree.0 -
Declaring a bit early because I know I will feel better for doing so as I feel a bit tempted tonight. So that's 18/20Trying to keep in budget.

Declaring a bit early too because I felt a LOT tempted tonight. Had an early dinner and now on to Earl Grey and a few chocolate fingers.... So that's another AF night thanks.0

Agree absolutely, Honey Bear - it's very sensible just to rethink a goal if it's not quite working for you. NewMe, I say "go you" as well0
