Just back from a bbq at friends - I offered to drive (even though ds1 who is usually our designated driver was there) - so 5/14 for me today
Does anyone else notice that they develop more of a sweet tooth when not drinking?

Yes - but I think this is my need to replace at least some of the calories I consume with alcohol.
Can we just take it as read I didn't mean to offend you?

Anyway, I'm on 20 days in a row without a drink. Which is 15 this month.

"are there 500ml bottles of wine?"

    I meant that I drink 500ml of a 750ml bottle :-)

I either have a glass or the whole bottle (and then usually more). I don't think I've ever had 500ml.

Another AFD. Was on taxi duty for some relatives who don't drive, so that was good. I think this takes me to 8/21?

10/17 for tonight please. Have drunk far too much over the last 2 nights as celebrating DD's A level results - she got ABB and will start Primary Teaching at Uni next month.

Huge congratulations for DD's A level results! :T:T:T

Pants. Failed again. A reduced level of drinking but not enough to count as an ALD. DH is out with his cousin tonight so I hope to avoid temptation.

I started much later than usual yesterday but still seemed to have enough to make me feel a bit yuk this morning. Probably because we ate really late (9 pm) too.

Back on the wagon today, first smiley of the month for me.:D

Hoping to get to target this week and then have some month left to add to my total.

    7AFDs please Shaggy.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
