    29 days up for grabs!

    Everyone Welcome!!!
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    2/20 AFDs today.

I failed epically yesterday in terms of alcohol.

In terms of exercise, however, I did 18000 steps, and walked for about 4 hours, having a lovely time touring Speke Hall, a Tudor manor.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Lovely NT property. I enjoyed it too a couple of years back:).
Hope the 'epic fail' wasn't triggered by more family stresses.

1/21 for Saturday and avoided the wine yesterday. All the tips about the hot chocolate -many thanks -it really hit the spot. Early start tomorrow so will aim for another afd today.
Was reading Chardonnay's diary which I found very helpful.

Edited to say:hi Shaggydoo -it's Thriftmonster not master -although Thriftmaster might be a promotion!!

Pleased you found the thread helpful thriftmonster! :) Good luck with cutting down!

Sorry, a bit late but I finished July on 31/22 and have started August on 3/31. Thanks Shaggy!

Wow!! You're doing amazingly well Chardonnay. You must be very proud of yourself. Congratulations.:T
Another AF today. I went for a routine hospital test this morning and they advised me not to drink alcohol for the rest of the day. I was tempted to respond 'but I wasn't going to anyway!!;)

    2 AFDs please Shaggy.

Certainly a little bit envious, Honey Bear. :) I'm visiting Cornwall next year, had a look at the events in May and whilst the event you went to isn't on, Steam, Beer and Jazz is, I'll take that. :D

2 for this evening, please. Wanted a drink but decided to play piano instead, :rotfl:, it's a good thing I live in a detached house and wife and son are both heavy sleepers. :)

Sounds like just the ticket! Perfect.

I went on an Agatha Christie type Murder Mystery dinner ride and everyone dressed up for the period, great fun.
