Hi all
Been very busy hence not coming on but apart from 1 evening, have had all very low ALDs! Oh, and I had at least 1 AF day but have totally lost count this month!0 -

19/22 for tonight please. I'm going to be one short of target this month as out on Friday.
Aiming low for August at 17 as got some events planned. If I exceed it that'll be a bonus.0 -
Hadn't noticed this thread before, but seems like a good way of people saving money by cutting back/ giving up alcohol. A while back I treated myself to one of these (I realise it may have been mentioned earlier) http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/2702272.htm It really helps keep control of how much you drink, without feeling going without. I also swapped branded for non branded cheaper versions for most drinks, some are nicer than others.Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0

20/22 AFDs today.
Can I set myself a target of 20 for August please as I'm spending a few days with mum/brothers/sister which could prove messy (both in terms of stress and alcohol). Eldest brother is being a bit more involved with mum. Other brother isn't. Sister talks a lot but isn't much practical help. SIL1 is an opinionated PITA who thinks she's an expert at anything psychological, but winds me up. SIL2 is the most informed, but I don't think she tells her husband (other brother) to do helpful things like phone his mum regularly (she used to phone her father who was in care every day). Sorry for the moan. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
Morning :hello:
2 more ALDs for Monday & Tuesday.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
