12/22 AFDs today. Had a horrid day. Mum rang me at 5 a.m. by mistake, but thought I had rung her so wanted to chat. NO, I am NOT a morning person. She had also sent me a blank text at 4.20. I rang the care home at a reasonable time this morning to check she was ok, she is. After I went back to sleep I had a horrible nightmare about being unable to walk to where I needed to go, and no-one would help. I can see what brought that on.
Then, after being offered a part-time job this evening, DH tells me I need to get more hours. I've been job hunting for months, and this is the first offer I've had, so of course I'm going to take it. Yes, I'll still be looking for work with more hours, but it'd be madness to turn this down while there's nothing else on offer. He makes it sound like I'm sponging.
Ah, that sounds like a rubbish day from start to finish Satchmo! Well done on getting the new job and hope you have a better day today!
16/22 for me please Shaggy. Hope everyone has a great weekend! :cool:0 -

Morning :hello:
1 more ALD for me for yesterday.
Big hugs to everyone having a hard time in RL.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
Thanks Shaggy
4 AF days and 5 ALDs so far this month. ALD = 3 or under for me too. I will think about a target for next month so still TF this month
Great. I'm gonna show that as 9 ALDs - unless you want to do both challenges? What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Commiserations but try and put it behind you:).
I like the idea of ALDs Shaggy, thanks for thinking that up. I'll start logging next month so that I can differentiate between AFDs, ALDs and 'other':o.0 -
Sorry to hear the news about the job, FBO, but well done on the pep$! m@x at 8.00am if you were thinking of having something else.
Satchmo, that sounds disappointing when you've actually found a job especially after a worringly interrupted night. (((Hugs))) m'dear.
17/31 please, Shaggy.Better is good enough.0
