Then, after being offered a part-time job this evening, DH tells me I need to get more hours. I've been job hunting for months, and this is the first offer I've had, so of course I'm going to take it. Yes, I'll still be looking for work with more hours, but it'd be madness to turn this down while there's nothing else on offer. He makes it sound like I'm sponging.

Ah, that sounds like a rubbish day from start to finish Satchmo! Well done on getting the new job and hope you have a better day today!

I like the idea of ALDs Shaggy, thanks for thinking that up. I'll start logging next month so that I can differentiate between AFDs, ALDs and 'other':o.
