FantAstic, honeybear :T - that has been my life and I've had enough .Just need to buck my ideas up and get up to your levels of determination. 2/15 for me please shaggy. Aargh, still can't do colour. I have binned the entire month of May (all the usual excuses that are not excuses, work, holiday, clearing out mum and dads, sorting ex`s possessions, DD passing test :T and driving me to work:eek:, dog ear lump, being the one to break the news about work demotions and take the understandable flak). May is my loss no excuses...

    Well done HB :j:j

We had a BBQ with friends last night and although i had some wine I had an AF wine between glasses. As we were all drinking Rose no one could tell the diifference :rotfl:

I didn't get to finish my last glass as one of my guests "flicked" a small spider away from his wife and it landed in my glass. Think it was trying to tell me something :D

    Have a good day all

OH rolled in at 1.00 am, wondering if if it would be a good idea to go downstairs, switch off by watching a bit of TV and having a handmade chocolate (and not mentioned but definitely on the agenda) another whisky. I disuaded him.

Do you mean YOUR handmade chocolates that are your treat for being AF??? What a cheek!!

    What a very helpful spider!;)

I find doing the same with tonic, ice and slice is helpful. I mean helpful for cutting down, not for drowning spiders!!:rotfl:

Pacing yourself with AF wine sounds like a great way to cut down, NRA!

And I absolutely love the idea of the Spider of Sobriety, Alchemilla!

No, sorry, that sounds as though he was nicking mine, doesn't it Maman, but he's the one who's been buying them for the past few weeks, although we used to take it in turns. I really, really can't complain and I didn't mean it like that; it just seems a waste to have the handmade ones when three sheets to the wind, when if the idea is just to eat chocolate - any old rubbish would do, even c@bury$ da!ry m!ilk.

Dansmum, when you find your own way of cutting down you'll be fine. The trick is to keep searching for something that works for you so you can relax and enjoy yourself without feeling as though you're going without.

I managed with several glasses of water last night, toegether with two or three of my trusty BBs. Mostly we just couldn't really be bothered with queuing at the bar with only one barman for 120 guests so it worked out just fine.
    Better is good enough.
