Calling tonight so 12/15 please Shaggy
Could you also put me down for 15 for February Thanks again for keeping us all on track0 -
After a good start ( in my eyes anyway) I have struggled with cutting down alcohol managing only 5 days AF so far this month.
I find it easier when I work a late to come home and not drink than if I work a day. Normally on a late shift I would still come home and down a bottle of red, what I need to do is work on not drinking on some of my days off and when I work a day.
I have some late shifts to do this week and hopefully these will be AF.
So I should have more to add to my total for this month which is still better than what would normally be 2AF days every 4 weeks .
I am setting my AF total for February at 12 please shaggy.
I'm hoping to make it to 8 for Jan so this will be an improvement for me
I work shifts and that's part of my problem. If I was working at the weekend I'd drink during the week so no nights were safe.
What I've found has worked for me is swapping what I drink. Apple juice and soda in a wine glass is fab and fools me into thinking it's a glass of wine.0 -
6/14 for me this evening.
Going to be aiming for a (largely) dry February so aiming high with a target of 25.2018 totals:
Savings £11,200
Mortgage Overpayments £5,5000 -
Alex, you're on a roll.:D
Sorry not checked in. There's clearly been a catastrophe at virgin as broadband has been more off than on since Sat am. Bit of a nuisance as I've got a tax return to do. My fault for leaving it to the last minute as per.
So, stayed AF during our social on Sat eve. It was a quiz night so at least I had something to concentrate on. Our team won and we each got..... A bottle of wine. Oh, the irony. But that's fine, it keeps.
Anyway, 27/31 for me please.
I haven't quite decided but I think I'll go TF for Feb and instead count units and stick to NHS guidelines, obviously treating them as an absolute maximum and not a target to be met.
This could be a deal breaker, but if I go TF but still come here with AFD updates, do I still get jiggly smilies by my name0 -
No alcohol tonight so that makes 6 AF days for meAs of 24th August 2016 total money owed was
£15,708 :eek:0 -
AFD #21 today.....
Yes I had my blip yesterday but I've given my head a good wobble tonight and I'm right back to it! I haven't reached my target for the month but if I carry on with AFDs for the rest of the month I'll be down by one! And do you know what - I'm not going to beat myself up about it cos I'd usually be lucky if I managed 1-2 AFDs a week! In fact I'd be grateful of night shifts so I couldn't be tempted to drink!
Shaggy please can I set my February target as 21 AFDs please.
This is taking into account that I have 2 possible 3 nights out in February and then 4 days for a bit of lea way!
Keep it up everyone!GC- June £0/£150
OD £0/£1500 OD £6.23/£900Debt paid-£6.23/£24000 -
27/31 thanks Shaggy. Long weekend, but home stretch now!0
