The nice thing about an early call is that one can then put the debating society to bed for the rest of the day, and the "Should I? Shouldn't I?" noise keeps quiet.
Indeed it does ... Though it was ridiculously early!!!0 -

Thank you for all my smilies for April. Day 250 for me today, a number I rather like. It's lovely to know that all those smilies are racked up forever on this thread, and no-one can take them away - apart from Shaggy! Very grateful for that.
Well done honey bear, a very satisfying number indeed:T0 -

29/31 please, Shaggy.
I winced in sympathy with those suffering too. Hope you are both feeling chipper now. It was interesting that even though a colour of wine wasn't mentioned my mind immediately imagined white wine and HB you imagined red. Powerful stuff this imagination.I really should try to remember about the horrible debating society. I can shut them up if I am prepared and then don't even consider drinking. I just need to remember who they are and what they do! They are very sneaky
1/20 for me as tonight is AF and the debating society have packed and gone elsewhere for the evening.
I found these posts really resonated with me and I want to shut the debating society up too. Yesterday was 1/15. I only had a fleeting few thoughts about drinking. That was my first AF day in a few months.0 -
1/30 please Shaggy.
Off on my hols today for 11 nights, intending it to be my first ever AF one! Wish me luck!
Hoping to still check in regularly but I'll say Happy Easter anyway and hope you all enjoy the break! :cool:0 -
I've posted else-thread, Chardonnay, to say it, but no-one's going to mind a second post wishing you a wonderful time, are they?Better is good enough.0
