Hello! Well done on giving up smoking and not drinking since the beginning of Jan. I haven't had a drink since the middle of Feb and feel so much better for it
31/31 please Shaggy!0 -

That's a super-early call CPC The nice thing about an early call is that one can then put the debating society to bed for the rest of the day, and the "Should I? Shouldn't I?" noise keeps quiet.0 -
Welcome Walcott!
31/31 please, Shaggy.Better is good enough.0 -
Thank you Honey Bear
It was AF for me again last night. Today will be my 1st AFD of the April challenge. While I have not been at this for very long, or even intending giving up totally, I have been thinking about how scary it is that I slipped into passive drinking. No thought to it, most days no planning. Just come home and may be have a glass of wine with dinner then a couple of beers or just come home and reach straight for a drink. Thinking back over the last few weeks, most days I wasn't even drunk or had any intention of being so. Just completely passive drinking because it is there.
I am just so shattered from it that I am slowly building up energy levels. Feeling slightly better every day. I had to cancel my drinks with a friend for tomorrow but we will rearrange soon so not a big deal.
Hope everyone else is well0 -
I'm determined to get a day or two in before the start of the Bank Holiday.
1 AFD please Shaggy.
Thanks so much for keeping score for us. It really helps us all along the way.:A
P.S. to any lurkers out there. It's a brand new month, why not join in?:)0 -
Afternoon :hello:
I wasn't AF yesterday, so no more AFDs to report for March.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
