    Good morning all

Well....starting a diet today (again:o) so am going to try and avoid the booze all week. I know wine is my massive downfall when it comes to my attempts at losing weight. Going to have to be vigilant and avoid it like the plague!!

    Have good Mondays all

    Miss P

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

That's great Shaggy:T. A steady loss like that is far more likely to stay off than drastic measures.

Good plan MissP. I know I'd never have lost weight if I hadn't got the wine drinking under control. I've managed to keep at my target weight for 3.5 years with moderate drinking. It can be done!! Good Luck.:)

I'm calling in early today as one of my few planned AF days this week.

    4AFDs please Shaggy.

Well done Shaggy. Starting using this AFD thread was one of a number of things I started doing to help me lose weight and not feel so sluggish and fuzzy, mentally and physically. I've lost 7lb since 11 Feb but I have a long way to go (check out my sig!). Still, this time I feel like I've got a good complement of tools at my disposal to ride out the tough times and sustain a healthy approach to drinking, weight, work and finances. (Famous last words Im sure!!)

8/24 for me today (declaring early as always!)

6/21 AFDs, and I'm glad to report a lovely day yesterday, with a visit from my son and his girlfriend with their new dog - a lovely-natured 2 year old Lassie-look-a-like from the Dogs Trust.

Today my sister took mum to meet mums newest great-granddaughter. I asked that sis did this because I had to be at a training morning, followed by an afternoon volunteering (both at Foodbank). Sis brought mum back just after 7pm, so me and DH had a nice quiet dinner.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
