Welcome Dansmam! It helps Shaggy spot everybody's numbers if you put them in red, if you have a moment. 17 is a heck of an achievement if you're flying solo, so to speak. It's 16 more than I ever managed!
Managed to pass by Belle's Tired of Thinking of Drinking 180 Day Target without realising it! I have to say, the counting in the early days was incredibly helpful in getting me through and now, although I still have my rituals like posting on this thread, the counting seems to be something I now need to remind myself to do. I think that may be progress. Anyway, it's Day 183 today and I'm pretty chuffed about that.
Calling early, at 24/31 please, Shaggy.Better is good enough.0 -

24/31 AFDs tonight. DH was acting as the devil's agent tonight - he said if I had a drink he wouldn't tell! I declined his sinful offer :-)
I've done the dry January for four years, and in fact the second year I carried on until Easter, with the help of DH and a colleague who was similarly feeling uneasy about the wine habits. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
First chance I've had to log in since last Sunday. I've clocked up another 4 AFDs since then so now on 16/19 please Shaggy
