Yes I've been watching the dieting show too - I'm really rooting for them all!
I agree - immediately someone pours a glass of Wine on TV, I get the urge to have one too!
No alcohol tonight for me 14/31 please.
Good luck to your team maman if it's who I'm thinking, they're doing great this season:)

For my IBS, I do yoga when I don't feel up to much else. :)
I usually cycle a lot, but sometimes IBS gets the better of me, especially when I have been drinking the day before.

Can honestly say in 16/17 days of not drinking have not had any trouble from IBS. It's obviously connected with me. :o

    Hope you feel better

I think my IBS is alcohol related too, or at last exacerbated by it. It will be a relief not to have that issue on a more than regular basis!

Well done Ells :) Sounds like your debating team tried hard to get you to drink and you fought them single handedly and won! Congrats!

I am declaring early today :j with 9/23 and 3/4 SNC.

As others have said, the sleep is an issue. A huge issue. I cannot get to sleep and when I do, I cannot wake up in the mornings. I have had a few days off so staying in bed until lunchtime  hasn't been a problem but it will be when I go back to work. Also, my usual routine involves popping to the shop for wine and cigs so I will be planning diversion tactics and kicking the debating team into touch ;)

I don't think I have ever been so determined :j

Thanks to everyone for being so supportive and helping us all on our way to sobriety! lol

Declaring early with 14/31 for tonight please.

When I did Dry Jan last year I decided from Feb to only drink on a Friday and Saturday unless away on holiday or a special occasion. Have been thinking about what to do after this Dry Jan and might try drinking Friday or Saturday unless away/special occasion. Well I'll give it a try anyway. I know that my tolerance is a lot lower so even when I do drink it's taken less to have an effect.

Well done and keep going to everyone else too :T

Sorry I am a day late with posting the SNC!! I went to the movies last night and watched the Steven Hawking 'the theory of Everything' - great film and Eddie Redmayne was super! Then we went and had a burger so by the time I got back I was tired. Today I have been run off my feet.

So I will declare for Yesterday tonight and do tonight tomorrow morning - does that make sense???

    SO School night challenge:

    Wannabefree 2/4
    Sukeyboo 2/4
    Fruball 2/4
Gien 1/2 :o:o:o Ok, so I had 100ml of wine with my (delicious in a diner) burger. I shall do Friday in penance instead.

    See you all tomorrow...
    Trying to keep in budget.
