13/31 AFDs, and a rubbish day health-wise with what I think is a bout of IBS. I haven't really suffered with this for nearly two years; I know it's stress related. I've been really wired since yesterday morning. I know why, but can't seem to breathe it out.

IBS creates a vicious circle: I don't feel physically well enough to go for a run, but a run is my best stress relief.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
  • 9/18Hi reporting for today. Thanks.

Maman, love the mastermind reference! BHB 16 days is ace.
I'm checking in for 2/4 on the SNC and 7/14 please Shaggy.
And there's still enough month left to hit my target.
I'm sleeping differently still, especially finding it hard to get to sleep and I'm much groggier in terms of how heavily I'm sleeping when the alarm goes. And I'm feeling all my aches and pains more too. I expect it gets better. Staying on the wagon till Friday. Beginning to wonder about buying a bottle of that stuff to try for group curiosity reasons although I think I don't want too real a substitute but to learn to have something different.
    Sleep well one and all.
  • Still haven't had time to catch up properly, so will do tomorrow. Managed to socialise and go out for a meal and stay AF tonight so I'm pleased with myself :) that's 12 for me please shaggy. Yay!

    Hi WBF:hello:

I felt rotten for about 2-3 weeks when I first stopped drinking, and my sleep wasn't too good either.
I think without all the alcohol sloshing around my system, by brain could finally listen to the signals that my body was giving it.
The primary signal was the one saying "I am knackered".
Also, I think my body missed the sugar from booze, so it was running on a different fuel.

It did get better, and eventually it was nice not to wake up with a tight, knotted stomach (which was fear in my case).

Keep going people - some amazing AF scores this month :T

I love it when someone's willing to take a hit for the team!

Without B3ck's B1u3 I'd find being AF much trickier, but I know there are people who find alcohol substitutes a no-go area. It would be interesting to know what you think, WBF, but I won't hold it against you if you decide not to do the sampling for us. I'd be interested in the gin substitute, if you're wondering about thread members' preferences!
