    Hi all

Temptation definitely being presented to me big style this week. The hotel I am staying at for work has had a fatal crash of the cable system so no TV until tomorrow :( so much for my chilled night of room service and trashy tv, they have however offered every guest a free drink of anything you like from the bar. Oh it is soo tempting to go for a veuve clicquot :rotfl: but a pint of diet coke will have to do as ultimately alcohol never tastes as good as being AF on a planned night feels :)

I was listening to a programme on R4 about this place

    http://www.cautleyspout.co.uk/history.htm

What a lovely place and apparently the choice of soft drinks is extensive (things like ginger beer, dandelion and burdock, sasperella (sp?) ) I would love a 'pub" like this on my doorstep. Instead at this bar tonight its a choice of coke, orange,J2O or coffee how dull.

Evening all. Fell off wagon Sunday, not too annoyed as was a treat in a chsnpagne bar. But then I end up not being able to stop and going all excessive. Grrr. Which then means Monday I need a couple to level out and get over the anxiety.
But I'm back determined tonight and going forwards. So 7/15 please for me

  • Well I am reporting in early as now over the dinner danger zone. Am going to make a decaf and have a piece of fruitcake. A little treat, must be less calories than a bottle of wine.

So looks like Shaggy has updated me allready, 5/10 afds.

    Well done everyone.
Total weight lost 6.5/73lbs starting yet again. Afds August 10/15. /8 Sept.

21/31 AFDs tonight - can't wait to see my third smiley, Shaggy!

At my diabetic review my blood pressure was worryingly high, 149/97. Nurse seemed unfazed, but as mines usually around 131 I will be asking for it to be rechecked next week. Maybe that's why I've been so angry? Mind you, she had to dig around to get the required blood samples, and as usual the BP was done afterwards. Why do they do that?

Guggul, please tell us that you have been to your GP, if not then do find an all-night walk in clinic?

365, glad you're feeling ok after your op.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
